Title: Let's Sing
All the lives of faith in the Bible were people of song. In the Book of Revelation, “the song of the Lamb, the song of salvation, the song of victory,
What song shall we sing?
1. Sing the God of salvation.
Moses sings with so much solemnity that “Jehovah is the God of salvation” throughout.
In verse 1, we praise Jehovah God in a grand way, how high and great his Savior is. And in verses 2 and 3, how brilliantly and splendidly the God of salvation is praised!
“The Lord is my strength and song, and my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him; he is the God of my Father, and I will exalt him. The LORD is a mighty man; the LORD is his name.”
Dear saints,
How much do we seem to be praising the God of salvation today? How lucky and thrilled that a sinner like me was chosen by God and saved among the many people of this world. I hope that we can live our lives singing the God of salvation.
2. Sing the God who leads.
Moses especially thanked and praised the grace of God's guidance. Verse 13: “You lead the people whom you have redeemed with your grace, and by your strength you bring them into your holy dwelling place.”
That is, we praise the God who leads Israel with grace and leads safely to the land of Canaan.
3. Sing the God of power.
In today's text, Moses is praising the God of power the most, such as the great power of the Lord, the right hand of the Lord, the great majesty of the Lord, the snoring of the Lord, the wind of the Lord, and the arm of the Lord's power.
Dear saints!
What kind of God do you think we believe in today?
How great and great do you think your God is?
Verses 14-17: As long as the hand of the Lord's power is with us, the whole world will be discouraged with fear and trembling.
If we praise the Lord of power as we live day by day, the powerful work of the Holy Spirit will happen in Will. A hymn awakens a person and awakens the soul from a deep sleep.
Hymns have healing power.
