Contents Matthew 10:24-33
Men may be fighting a battle with fear for the rest of their lives. This is especially true for Korean men. This is because Korean men who grew up in a face culture are sensitive not to their own thoughts or circumstances, but to what other people think of me. Men have tension.
According to Ernie J Zelinsky's 'Don't Hurry, Be Happy', "40% of our worries are about events that will never happen, 30% of events that have already happened, and 22% of what we worry about. Minor events, 4%, are about events we cannot change. Only the remaining 4% are real events we can deal with. In other words, 96% of concerns are useless.” Fear makes people prudent. Fear makes a person competent. Fear is not something to be rejected, it is something to be well controlled.
Jesus explains the reality of what men fear, and tells us that the real thing to fear is God. Men have a fear of dying. In addition, men live in the world with fear in every field they face. Because of that fear, they try to convince themselves that their efforts are the best way. But God was in control of it all. It is not easy for men to realize that nothing becomes one without God's permission.
Men have a fear of 'things that destroy their self-esteem'. Jesus not only said that he was more precious than a sparrow, but also said that “even the hairs of your head have been numbered” (Matthew 10:30) to understand, empathize with, and comfort our existence that is crushed by unnecessary fear. you do If we keep faith and honesty, which are our essentials, our life will be covered by Jesus, and we will be assured.
Guys, there are times when my life is engulfed in fear because it seems like a difficult hurdle has arrived The reason we should live a fearless life is because what we are experiencing is not our entire life, God is in control of our life, and Jesus guarantees us. Will you live in fear of a life you don't need to be afraid of? What unnecessary fears do I have to lay down before Jesus?
