<Meditation>
According to God's creation, a day is "the time from dark to noon". When the time could not be measured, the Jews thought that a new day had begun when three stars appeared in the night sky after sunset. He lived each day as a 'hope' waiting for the dawn to face the deep darkness.
The word of God is still open to all of us today as a new word.
The Word of God comes with power to those who are ignorant of the Word or ignore the Word, and to those who stand in front of the Word with fear and trembling and decide to live a new life.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. And today is different from yesterday, and for someone, ‘just one more day!’ It’s a lifelong wish, but it’s also a day that didn’t come true. When she stood relying on the word of Almighty God, Mary became a person who fulfilled the word. Instead of being captivated by the past, we are living a new life as a person who has the great history of salvation for mankind. You have given us a new day, a special day.
On this new, special day, we welcome Christmas Eve. Let's make this day special and new. I hope it will be a day to spread the love of the Lord to the poor, marginalized and weak neighbors rather than giving joy to ourselves.
Each day God has given us is a day we can do better than yesterday. I hope you have a blessed day that fulfills the Word by relying on the power of the Word.
<Prayer>
1. May it be a blessed day to fulfill the Word by relying on the power of the Word!
2. Send many faithful co-workers!
