<Meditation>
The year is coming to an end. December, the last month of the year, is also leaning. What have you been running for all year? And what awaits you as the year draws to a close? What we are waiting for must be Jesus Christ. We must wait for the One who has come to this earth as life and peace and dream of a world where peace truly overflows.
Living as a believer in a world that is too complex and fast-paced is not simple and easy. It is not easy to live by relying on the Word of God when everyone is moving towards the values and goals of the world one by one. Nevertheless, there are still ‘remaining ones’. Rather than worldly success, honor, or material abundance, there are those who obey God's word and live their lives with the low point of their life. The remnant, the stump. The lives of those left behind can be difficult. However, the hardship is his own cross that the Lord has commanded him to carry, so he is able to bear the yoke that the Lord has made.
There are the hands and feet of the elderly who remain alone in the rural areas where everyone else has left. And there are young people who remain. Some young people leave the city life and return to the countryside with a dream. There are those who do not come back as failures, but come back with dreams. What they want to protect is not just an empty house in the countryside, but our lives and values. Soon his yoke will be removed from his neck, and the heavy burdens will depart from his shoulders.
Come soon, Emmanuel!
<Prayer>
1. Be the remnant and live faithfully!
2. Send many faithful co-workers!
