“I exhort you, brothers and sisters. Admonish the disorderly, encourage the weak, help the weak, be patient with all” (1 Thessalonians 5:14).
<Meditation>
When I sit in the church office, a lot of people come to me. Some people say they lost their wallet and ask for a car loan. Others ask you to sell something. There are people who beg for money outright, and there are people who want to sleep for a day. Most of the things they seek are fleshly things. What the church gives is eternal life rather than fleshly things, but many people are struggling with the problem of eating and wearing clothes on earth.
One time, I was very tired after visiting all day and finishing the Wednesday worship service. I just wanted to rest. Even when I saw the first person who came out of the back seat after quiet worship, I thought I should just say hello and send it off. But he hesitated, and asked.
“Well, is there anything I can help you with?”
“Yes, I would like to consult with the pastor.”
For a moment, I thought, 'Oh, I'll just pretend I don't know and send it. However, the consultation that started lasted for nearly two hours. During the conversation, I repented to God. No matter how tired I was, I thought I would have sinned greatly against God if I had just let such a person go. The 51-year-old woman who divorced her husband and raised two daughters complained of spiritual hunger. He said that he had been training in different religions for a long time, but he came to church because his spiritual hunger was not satisfied. I told you about Jesus. He preached the love of the cross. Introducing the Bible, the Word of God. In less than 30 minutes, this woman said that her tight breasts seemed to have been ripped out, promising that she would come back on Sunday and went back.
My tired body became refreshed like a lie. My footsteps have become really light. Once again, we keep in mind that it is our mission to encourage the weak and support the weak.
<Prayer>
1. Let our church fulfill the Lord's mission and fulfill the Lord's will!
2. The harvest is plentiful, but workers are scarce. Send faithful workers!
3. Heal the weak patients and restore the church members who are in trouble! - Elder Kim Eul-su, Deacon Park Jong-rok, Deacon Kim Young-sik, Deacon Kim Wan-jin, etc...
