Title Moment and Eternity (Proverbs 11:27-31)
Contents 1. Good and Evil Verse 27 says, “He who earnestly seeks good will find favor, but he who seeks after evil will find evil.” (1) Those who are zealous to do good in the world will be loved by God and people. He who rises early for a good cause has an opportunity to give to the poor, and he who devotes himself to himself is blessed. All around him will love him, praise him and show him kindness. It is said that the righteous are like green leaves, but green leaves do not live on their own, but are attached to trees. Likewise, the righteous will live forever because they depend on God. Psalm 1:3 says, “As a tree planted by streams of water does not wither, it yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.” Isaiah 66:14 says, “In the world of death, where riches disappoint people, can the bones of the righteous be opened?...
