Title My Guardian (Deuteronomy 01:29-30)
In Webster's book, The Long Legged Uncle, when you learn the body of a guardian who is helping you, like a girl with surprise and joy, you feel that when you get to know the reality of your relationship with God, you are more valuable. God is our eternal Guardian. If we consider what He has given us and what His actions toward us are like, our life will definitely be different from what it is today.
1. God who acts ahead of time (29-30)
At the time of creation, God created all the conditions and then created man.
If man had been created before all other things in God's creation, no one would have survived. When they left Egypt, a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire went ahead of the Israelites, and when they crossed the Jordan River, the ark of God passed first. The same is true of the relationship between the shepherd and the sheep. There is no shepherd who leads the sheep. The shepherd first makes a way, and then he follows it.
2. God fights for us (30)
God, who showed God fighting for His people with horses and chariots of fire in the days of Elisha, is still fighting for us and on our side today. Rwanda in Africa is described as a hell on this land. We need peacekeepers to fight for it. When they can't fight, a third force has to help. When we are spiritually exhausted and unable to fight, our God has promised to fight for us.
3. God Who Hugs (31)
God embraces His people. When the prodigal son came to his father's house, he asked that he be considered one of the hired men, but his father embraced him and restored his status as a son. No parent scolds a child who drank rat poison. Before scolding, I will take you to the hospital first or whatever action will be taken. This act is an act of hugging. There is the hand of God who takes you and takes you to your destination when you are tired and weak and cannot walk.
