Sermon Text I Genesis 6:9-14 These are the records of Noah: Noah was a righteous man and perfect in his time, and he walked with God.
He bore three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Then the whole earth was corrupted before God, and violence filled the earth.
And God saw that the earth was corrupt, for the deeds of all flesh on the earth were corrupt.
And God said to Noah, The earth is full of violence of all flesh, and its end has come before me, and I will destroy them along with the earth.
You shall build for yourself an ark of cypress wood, and you shall seal the livers in it, and paint the inside and outside of it with bitumen.

He cursed Canaan.
1) He himself forgot that he was saved by the grace of God, just like those who were destroyed in the flood.
2) He fell into farming and forgot God, and became a drunkard man.
3) Noah's mistake caused the descendants of his son Ham to be cursed.
