Title Not from God (Nehemiah 06:12)
Contents Introduction: When it comes to prophets who prophesy, it is said that they should always act as they were sent by God and prophesy according to God's will, but they were not sent by God.
1. Shemaiah's identity problem Who is Shemaiah? In this book (6:10), it is said that Shemaiah the son of Delayah, the grandson of Mehetabel, did not go out.
According to 1 Chronicles 24:18, Delayah appears to be a priest because he is descended from Aaron, and his son Shemaiah is a prophet. What he did not know was that he was doing something in secret, especially to plot a conspiracy sabotage operation. If you don't, you won't be able to do the right thing, so I'll see it as a secret action.
2. He was not sent by God.
The characteristic of false prophets is that they do not have a direct calling, nomination, or dispatch from God.
Therefore, all those who go out of their own accord are false prophets.
And their purpose is always to interfere with God's plan.
As Jesus said in Matthew 24:24, "False Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." Their purpose is to deceive the elect.
3. You cannot communicate the Word of God.
In the old days, Balaam was a man who received the mission of a prophet. One time, at the request of Balak, king of Moab, he tried to curse Israel, but he was afraid and left one night to ask God. I couldn't dare go because God didn't allow it. However, he was tempted with so many bribes and honors, so he almost forced God to do so, and he was conditionally allowed to speak only the words that God allows. In the midst of this, he was rebuked by a speechless donkey and humiliated (Numbers 22:1-).
Without God's permission, no one can go forth to communicate or instruct God's revelation. Conversely, if God commands, we have an obligation to deliver the Word whether the white papers listen to it or not.
Conclusion: No matter what human beings are, can they live according to their own opinions? Only God commands them or disallows them. That is, they cannot do it voluntarily, even in a single word. Beware of false prophecies and distinguish between true ones.
