Things to watch out for when doing good
Numbers 4:1 49
There are many people who have suffered great misfortune because they tried to do good. There are people who go out to help a car in a car accident and die together. There are people who have been beaten by them while trying to help poor children. Doing good does not guarantee safety in everything. On the contrary, there are more dangerous things when we do good. There are a lot of people who try to do good and wonder why bad things happen.
Today's verse warns us to be careful not to come into danger while moving the tabernacle of God.
Verses 17-18
And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, "Do not let the tribe of the Kohathites be cut off from among the Levites, that the Levites do not die while carrying the tabernacle. He was charged with the important task of carrying the holy objects in the sanctuary, which could be fatal if done wrong.
Observe the laws of nature - Levi's descendants were tasked with carrying the tabernacle and its annexes. Strictly respect the laws of nature. Only the most powerful people aged 30-50 years were allowed to do this. You should help as much as you can. And all the loads were evenly distributed so that they could be carried. The sons of Kohath - the holy objects in the sanctuary: the sons of Gershon - the covers of the tabernacle: the sons of Merari
Do not work beyond the limits of your own strength. Working beyond one's own limits can lead to unfortunate encounters that end up failing to help.
Even people who do good deeds can get into accidents if they drive without sleeping.
Observe the law of morality - You cannot allow yourself to go against your conscience by doing something good. Many people are wrong to think that because the purpose is good, it will cover up the bad in the way. Stealing for your children. Stealing money from rich people to help others
Keep God's Law - There are God's laws that seem insignificant in the world. The holy things carried by the Kohathites had to be carried by man. Don't like the cart. We must obey the laws of the Bible that God has established.
The Holy Spirit helps you to keep all these laws. Therefore, it is important to meditate on the Word and pray for those who do the Lord's work.
