Introduction
Depending on how people make up their minds, the direction of their lives can be different and their actions can also be different. However, let's see how the author who appears in the text decided on the mage.
How should we make up our minds?
1. I have decided to praise. (Verse 1)
“God, I have made up my mind. Truly I have made up my mind. I will sing along to the melody. Awake, my soul.”
And he said, “Lord, I give thanks to you among all peoples, and I will sing to praise you from among the nations” (3).
David made up his mind to praise God for the rest of his life. That determination is very good. It is very good to make up your mind to live with glory and praise to God.
2. I decided to pray in the morning (verse 2).
“You harp, you harp, wake up. I will wake up the dawn.”
This is not the dawn waking David, but David's determination to wake the dawn. This is a great decision. A normal person wakes up at dawn, but David says he will get up before dawn and wake up at dawn. Getting up early in the morning is good for your health and good for everything. Jesus also prayed at dawn (Mark 1:35). We, too, must make a firm decision to pray
3. Decided to rely on God alone (verse 13).
“If God is with us, we will have victory. He will trample down our enemies.”
It is very precious to know that there is no other name in the world by which we can be saved and to live only by God (Acts 4:12). It is the belief in one God that the subject of faith is not determined by any god but only God. It is said that there are 330 million gods under the sky of India. How precious is the determination of your heart to believe only in Almighty God among the many. God is the God of life (Psalm 42:8) and He is the God who insists on the blessings of life and death (1 Samuel 2:6-10). An act like this is valuable.
conclusion
Like David, let us make up our minds to praise God, to pray in the morning, and to depend and follow God alone.
