Even if I said to the righteous, 'He will surely live', if he believes in his righteousness and does evil, I will never remember all the righteous deeds he has done. He will die for the very sin he has committed. But even though I said to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' he turns from his sins and does law and righteousness, returns the ransom, repays the stolen goods, and lives according to the rules that lead to life. , if he does not do evil, he will not die, but will surely live. I will not remember all the sins he has committed. He is a man who lives by law and righteousness, and he will surely live. Amen.
