Title The text of the Sunday Sermon on February 21st
Romans 10:13-15 “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Songbook 3118 - On Your Way (Song of Dispatch)
1. Anyone
The Lord is saying “whoever”.
No matter what color of skin you have, whatever your ethnicity, whatever your ideology, whether you have committed many or few sins, rich or poor, educated or ignorant, regardless of whether you are a woman, a man, a child, or an old man. He is saying that whoever needs to be saved, who needs to hear the gospel, and whom God values more than the world and loves even the giving of his own Son.
2. Those who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
God paid the price that had to be paid to save me and you from eternal damnation and death with His Son's blood, suffering, and life.
We have nothing left to pay for me and your salvation, and we have nothing we can pay for our salvation.
God and Jesus did it all.
Our faith is believing in God and what Jesus has done for us.
Faith is the channel through which God saves us.
3. We must constantly send those who will preach the gospel.
Apostles are those who are sent to preach the gospel.
Missionaries are sent so that all nations can hear this gospel.
All saints are sent to share the gospel with family, friends and neighbors.
The church must constantly send people to evangelize to the world and to the nations.
That is the most important reason the church exists on this earth.
4. “Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news”
Among the many beautiful things that exist in this world, the most beautiful is the footsteps of those who go down the road to preach the gospel.
The greatest thing that exists in this world is to preach the gospel.
This is because the gospel is the only key that can solve all life's problems and is the only way to save our souls and gain eternal life.
