Title Three-way salvation (3 John 01:2)
Content When we say salvation, we commonly think of spiritual salvation. However, the salvation of Jesus Christ is much broader. The fall of Adam was not merely a spiritual fall. Spiritual depravity was inevitably driven from material blessings and accompanied by physical death. For this reason, it is natural that the salvation of souls through Jesus Christ now also affects our living environment and our bodies.
1. As my soul prospers 1) the state of the fall (1) the death of the soul (Genesis 2:17). (2) Cast out (Genesis 3:23).
(3) Servant of the devil and death (Hebrews 2:14-15).
2) The grace of salvation (1) The soul survives (Ephesians 2:5,) (2) We are received before God (Ephesians 2:6, Hebrews 10:19).
(3) The reign of freedom and life (Romans 5:17; James 4:17).
These blessings came only through the grace of faith in Jesus (refer to the parable of the robber).
2. You are doing well in everything. 1) The influence of Adam's spiritual fall on the environment.
(1) Expulsion from Eden (Genesis 3:23).
(2) The earth was cursed (Genesis 3:17).
2) Salvation grace (1) Jesus bore the curse (Galatians 3:13).
(2) The provision of Eden.
A. God prepared for Adam.
B. God prepared for the Israelites who left Egypt.
C. God prepared for the saints (1 Corinthians 2:9).
D. Where is our Eden?
A) Jesus is the tree of life B) Those who have Jesus are in the center of Eden.
C) What is reserved around us: a tree that is beautiful to look at and good to eat, a river that flows from Eden, gold, bethelium (pearl) and agate.
3. To be strong 1) The proclamation of the Fall and bodily-physical death (Genesis 3:19).
2) The healing of Christ (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matt 8:17).
(Conclusion): Jesus completed our salvation through the cross. Now the Holy Spirit has come to make us experience this salvation.
