Title To be a great person

To become a great person (Luke 15:11-24)
Today is Machu Thanksgiving Day. One of God's three great feasting commands, the Feast of Harvest is a season to give thanks for the harvest of the first fruits (Ex 23:16).
(1) The faith of the firstfruits is to have a living hope (1 Peter 1:3).
(2) Recognize your own worth. It is of no use if you lose your life (Matthew 16:26).
What do we need to believe in Jesus and become great people?
1. Complete obedience is required.
(1) Why did the life of the second son become miserable? After all, because of his disobedience to his father. To become a great person, you must make obedience an integral part.
(2) Those who are filial to their parents become a great person.
2. We need God's love.
(1) When the second son returns to his father, how happy does the father welcome him, who has no merit? (Luke 15:24)
(2) The invisible love of God is expressed in the visible love of neighbor.
3. A confession of gratitude is required.
(1) What do you need to have when expressing your love for God? It is praise, worship, and thanksgiving.
(2) How happy is the father when the second son returns to his father and even makes a humble confession? So, he treats his son with the utmost hospitality, holds a commemorative feast, and gives him the best (verses 22-23).
4. A perspective of faith is required.
(1) It can be disappointing when you face difficulties in life, but looking back, it is the best way.
(2) People try to live a good life, but they often stand in the place of sin. At that time, how many people lost their faith because of their weakness and incompetence? Yet God still waits for him to come back, sometimes through desperate trials to bring him back. Realize such love of God, do not leave the seat of grace under any circumstances, and do not belittle yourself.
