Title What shall we do? (2007. 10. 28)

Contents

Date: October 28, 200

Word: Luke 3:7-14

Title: What shall we do?

Contents :

The last prophet in the Old Testament was the prophet Malachi. Israel used to hear God's warnings and rebukes through the prophets and understand God's will, but after the end of the prophet Malachi's activities, no prophet appeared for about 400 years, so Israel fell into a state of spiritual darkness.

This period is also known as the Middle Ages or the Dark Ages.

Believers must keep in mind that leaving the Word is darkness.

John the Baptist was a prophet who appeared 400 years after Malachi. His cry was authoritative and powerful, as his actual life was clean, and it was a piercing sound.

We must bear fruit worthy of repentance.

Repentance means repentance () and gae () to be corrected. Therefore, repentance is accompanied by two actions.

Repentance - Repentance requires repentance first. It cannot be cut off without repentance. There must be a sense of “what to do”. There is also a wrath in the text, “What shall we do?”

Healing - True repentance means breaking the wrong way and becoming like the Lord. We must cast away the wrong me and think, act, obey, and work like the Lord. Again, tears that do not correct mistakes are not tears of repentance. Confession of sin that does not correct mistakes is not repentance.

What is the worthy fruit? It is a changed Christian life through true repentance. We can see that the proper fruit is produced in the text of the text.

We must live like Abraham's descendants.

We tell ourselves not to say that Abraham is our father. Heaven is the only way to go through your own faith. Those who are born again by the blood of Jesus are the true descendants of Abraham.

You should know that the ax has already been placed at the root of the tree.

God is looking for good fruit. Trees that do not bear good fruit are cut down and thrown into the fire.
