Sermons for Preaching

You didn't know the title? (Numbers 15:22-31)

Content: God is always holy.

To say that God is always holy means that holiness is always required of us who come before Him.

In life, there are times when we unintentionally make mistakes or make mistakes and commit sins.

When that happens, we rationalize ourselves and bury our sins by saying to ourselves, “I did it because I didn’t know… I did it because I didn’t know well…”.

However, God still requires holiness from us.

He is talking about how each of the congregations among the people of Israel will be restored to holiness if they sinned unintentionally, or if a person sins unintentionally.

Even if a sin was committed unintentionally, it should not be covered up or covered up.

God said that they must offer a sin offering, and that through the sin offering, they would be forgiven and purified again.

Of course, there was no other way than to "cut off from among the people" - (death) punishment for willful sin.

Whether a congregation or an individual commits a sin unintentionally, this saying that a sin offering must be offered to God so that the sin will be forgiven teaches us a lot today.

How many sins are you unwittingly committing in the church or in your Christian home or Christian gathering community (small group gatherings such as work or school)? The individual has nothing more to say. But how often do all of those things just pass by simply 'by mistake' or 'because I don't know'?

In order for us not to be completely destroyed before the holy God, we must thoroughly repent of our unintentional sins. Failure to offer the sin offering of repentance is to deceive God, and it is a more terrifying and greater sin than a sin committed unintentionally.

You didn't know that? Did you do that by mistake? It can be. Still, if you knew it was wrong, you should immediately kneel to God. And you must repent.

Because God is perfectly holy. Because you must do it in order to go before him.^^**

We must pray so that we do not sin even without our knowledge, and if we have sinned unintentionally, I hope that you and I will be able to offer the sin offering right away without hiding the sin.
