Please pray.
Fraud occurred in the South Korean election, but the government is not investigating. Pray that the government will investigate and punish those who cheated.
Urgent Prayer: The president of South Korea is trying to uncover fraudulent elections. Members of the opposition National Assembly, who were elected in a fraudulent election, want to impeach the president. Pray that the president of South Korea will not be impeached. The forces behind the fraudulent election are from the Chinese Communist Party, North Korea, and the Communist Party in South Korea. Pray that those responsible for the election fraud will be found and punished. Pray that there will be no bloodshed in South Korea. Pray that Satan and the evil spirits controlling them will be bound.

Daniel. Another name of Chileab (2 Samuel 3:3).

Eglah his wife. The only woman in this list called David"s "wife". Perhaps his original wife.

Verse 5

born . . . Jerusalem. Compare 2 Samuel 5:13-16.

Nathan. The son through whom the genealogy of Joseph is traced in Luk 3; and in Mat 1; after Solomon"s line failed in Jeconiah. See note on 1 Chronicles 3:17.

Solomon. Through whom the line is traced in through whom the genealogy of Joseph, see Mat 1.

Bath-shua. Another name for Bath-sheba. Compare 2 Samuel 11:3.

Ammiel, or Eliam. Compare 2 Samuel 11:3.

Verse 8

nine. Eleven are mentioned in 2 Samuel 5:14-16; but probably two died young, and their names were not needed in the genealogy. Compare 2 Samuel 5:15.

Verse 9

Tamar. Compare 2Sa 13.

Verse 15

Johanan. Or, Jehoahaz. 2 Kings 23:30.

Jehoiakim. Called Eliakim by his father, but Jehoiakim by Pharaoh-nechoh, king of Egypt (2 Kings 23:34).

Zedekiah. The same as Mattaniah. Compare 2 Kings 24:17, 2 Kings 24:18. He was the last king of Judah.

Shallum. The same as Jehoahaz, the successor of Josiah (Jeremiah 22:11. 2 Kings 23:31, 2 Kings 23:34).

Verse 16

Jeconiah. Called also Jehoiachin (2 Kings 24:6), and Coniah (Jeremiah 22:24, Jeremiah 22:28). Compare 2 Chronicles 36:9. 2 Kings 24:8.

Verse 17

sons. Compare Jeremiah 22:28-30.

Assir = the captive, perhaps referring to Zedekiah, and not a proper name.

Verse 19

Zerubbabel According to Matthew 1:12 and Ezra 3:2; Ezra 5:2, the son of Shealtiel.

Verse 22

six. Hebrew. Shishshah, which may be a proper name and not the numeral.
