Title “Schedule of the Last Saints”

Contents

The believer's life of faith is called "eschatological life." What does this eschatological life mean? The term “eschatological life” refers to the attitude of living responsibly and faithfully in the word of God in faith with the feeling that every moment is the last moment of my life. According to the Bible, there are two end times - 1) there is a cosmological end, and 2) there is a personal end. The cosmic end is the day when Jesus returns. The personal end is the end of life. But the mysterious fact is that neither the cosmic end nor the personal end did not know the beginning and the end. This is the secret of the kingdom of God. Therefore, believers should save time (Ephesians 5:15-21). A wise believer follows the time table of God's Word.

Today's text teaches the basics of the last saints. This is Peter's lesson that teaches us how to live today's life.

First, be sober, sober, and pray (verse 7).

"The end of all things is near; therefore, be sober and sober and pray." The vitality and vitality of the church is possible because of the expectation of the day of the Lord's Second Coming.

That expectation is given to the Christian who lives today with a pure and restrained life with the feeling that this time is the last day of my life (Be clear minded and self-controlled). This is a message to seek God's wisdom, not human effort (James 1:5). Solomon is the king who received unprecedented blessings through this prayer (1 Kings 3:1-10). When suffering and tribulation come, don't face the situation of 'How am I going to live?', but we should seek God's wisdom through prayer. When we pray, we can have a clear soul and discover what we need to do. We get a clear answer, so the Reformer Martin Luther said, "I'm too busy to pray. Find a job!! Do more when you don't have time, when you have time, and when you're busy." have it But if you do not find the true owner, you will leave” (Michael Ende). Saving today for tomorrow is foolishness. If you do not use this time fully now, you will not know tomorrow (Psalm 90:12). Ask the prayer of wisdom Do it!! Change!!

Second, it's about loving each other hard.

“Above all, love one another passionately, for love covers a multitude of sins.” (verse 8) - As the life attitude of believers living in the end times, the most important priority is “love one another”.

I said "love each other hard", but "deeply" means that the runners on the playground must hold the gorl line exactly as they run. In other words, consider the grace of the Lord a little more, and 1) you will forgive each other. Forgiveness is to cover a fault. This is the truth and love of the cross of Jesus Christ. God is the Lord who forgives our transgressions (Psalm 32:1), 2) we will be able to treat each other without complaint (Matthew 7:12; Hebrews 13:1), and 3) we will volunteer to serve each other. .

"As each one has received a gift, serve as good stewards of the various graces of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as if he were speaking God's words, and if anyone would serve, let him do it with the power that God provides. In all things Jesus Christ that God may be glorified through him, to whom is glory and power forever and ever” (verses 10-11) Hallelujah!!
