(…) Christianity is a religion of language. It is a religion in which God gives grace and responds to what we confess with our mouths and confess with our mouths. (…) Look at the Christian culture. Praise, pray. Among the words people use, the best words are ‘love’ and ‘thank you’ (…). Saying ‘I love you’ or ‘thank you’ is ringing the love bell. We must ring the bell of thanks. Count the blessings you have received in your life, at home, at work, and at church. Gratitude is like water vapor. Even if it's a small thank you, it doesn't end with me. Gratitude is delivered to God and comes down to me again by God's grace. The prayers of those who are grateful, the lives of those who are grateful, rise upward. glorifies God. God gives more grace to those who give thanks so that they become blessings.
