《The Power of Words》
(John 1:1~4 / Hebrews 4:11~13)
It is the first Sunday of the last month of 2010. December is also called Advent or Advent because it is the season of waiting for Jesus to come into the world. Today is the second Sunday of Advent.(…) What is more confusing than this bombing of Yeonpyeong Island is that the commander’s order has not been issued. If the word does not fall into the soil but falls on the roadside, the birds come and eat it and become a dead word. For a strong nation, the command (word) must be alive. If the horse of the head of a household is alive, it is a good family, a strong family. If the word of the Lord is alive in the church, it will become a healthy church and a powerful church. The life of faith is to follow the word of God.(…) The most important thing in the life of faith is the word of God. The Word must stand in my life. When you follow the Word, you become a healthy believer.(…) I will give you the Word while thinking about the Bible.(…)
① The Word of God is alive.
② The word of God is sharper than a sharpened sword.
(…) The word of God is so sharp that it makes it easy to distinguish between thoughts that belong to God and thoughts that belong to the devil.(…) He tests the physical and mental lives of human beings. There is a distinction between the physical and the spiritual. This verse is saying that our emotions and intellect must be under God's watch. Man appears naked before the Word of God. The Word of God can see through, see through, and cannot be hidden. It pierces and splits the soul, the joints, and the marrow. Everything is revealed before the Word and cannot be covered up. The power of God's Word makes people honest.
③ We must hold fast to the Word.
(…) We are fighting against the spirit of evil. fights with evil spirits. There are people who are enslaved by an evil spirit. You must rule them with the sword of the Word to set them free and to be saved. Christians must fight with the Word. The only absolute weapon in this battle is the Word. We must hold fast to the word. In other words, we must correct the way we believe in Jesus Christ. Since the standard of our religious life is the Bible, we respect the Bible and believe in the Bible. If you live according to the Word, your life will be full.(…) Anxiety and worries will disappear, and you will have a life full of love, joy, peace and gratitude. My life will be honored. Amen.
