Title: “Pulpit Exchange through Church Unity Milal”
Contents
The three denominations, including the Joint Chief of Presbyterian Church, decided to continue to cooperate for unity with the Korean Church Association based on the friendship and trust that was cultivated through the exchange of denomination leaders and to expand the base of exchanges between denominations.
25 executives from three denominations, including Chairman of the Unified Presbyterian Church of Korea Choi Byung-gon, Chairman Han Myung-su, and General Chairman Jeon Byung-geum, took the first step toward spiritual unity at the 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall of the Korean Church on the 6th at the first united executive meeting in the history of the Presbyterian Church under the supervision of the Unified Church.
The Association Executive Committee is evaluated as a meaningful meeting in that the executives who actually lead the three denominations gathered together and recognized the need for exchange at the denomination level.
The three denomination exchanges are not consistent with the actual union of the denominations, but they have a symbolic meaning that the denomination leaders took the lead, repenting of the past of the divided Presbyterian Church and opening a meeting place to achieve spiritual unity.
