Title: Do not be troubled / (Phil: 4-6)
Content Don't worry
<text>
Rejoice in the Lord always, I say again, rejoice, let your generosity be made known to all, for the Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians: 4-6).
The world lives with worries and worries.
If I ask anyone who passes by and ask, Do you have any worries, how many people will answer no?
So many people live with worry and anxiety.
Perhaps some of our members who are here now come out with worries or worries in their hearts.
So many people live with anxiety and worry.
Just like Jesus said, 'Can you add one cubit to your height by being anxious?', we are filled with worry, worry, and anxiety even though we know that worrying, worrying, or worrying is useless.
If not leaving us like this is anxiety, then we need to know what is the cause of this worry, and how we can be freed from these worries, worries and concerns.
This morning, I would like to find out the cause of this anxiety and worry and the method of liberation through the Bible and share the grace with it.
1. First of all, it is the cause of anxiety and worry.
Many people think that some problem is the cause of their worries and concerns.
Problems at work, school, children, family, marital problems, health problems, economic problems, problems of the opposite sex, problems of social honor, etc. All the problems that occur around us bring us anxiety and worry.
When these problems are gone, there is no worry and no more anxious life.
However, even people without special problems do not always lead a peaceful life.
This is because people around us who seem to have no worries, concerns, or worries do not live so peacefully.
Ex) An old couple who never leaves their smiles, their children are always filial, and they are happy while farming together.
No. Why? The eldest daughter-in-law is in poor health, the second grandson is not doing well, and the younger daughter is not doing well.
When one problem disappears, another problem arises, and in many cases, more difficulties are encountered.
So worries and worries never leave us.
What is the real reason why these worries and worries do not leave us?
1) It is because they have left God because of disobedience.
Originally, man was created to live with God.
He was created to live with God and enjoy joy and happiness.
Nevertheless, people turned away from God due to self-greed and disobedience, and eventually fell into sin and curses.
Because they have left God in this way, it has caused tremendous consequences among people, ranging from sin and sorrow, sickness and suffering, and eventually death and eternal punishment to hell.
Strangely, life gets better, but people get worse.
The number of hospitals and doctors increases, and the number of desperate diseases that cannot be dealt with even with advances in medicine increases.
Jingshin Hospital is full and cannot be admitted.
Why does this absurd thing keep happening ?
Not because of anything else.
It is because we have left God.
2) This is because Satan still has the power of the air.
(Ephesians 2:2) "In those days you walked in them, after the customs of this world, and after the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience."
Satan is not a thought-provoking being.
A fallen angel is a spirit being cast into the air.
It is an existence that is working even now, trying to resist God and lead our people to destruction.
Moreover, the work of this Satan is strong for us believers.
Because the unbelievers perish even if they are left alone, but the believers cannot be led into that destruction because of Jesus.
That's why they're trying to knock them down by any means possible.
“Be sober and awake, for your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour; be strong in your faith and resist him, for you know that your brothers in the world suffer the same thing” (1 Peter 5:8). -9)
3) Unbelief. (Prayer, Promise, Authority)
The most decisive cause for us believers is lack of faith.
When we believe and receive Jesus Christ, God has made us children of God and has given us the authority.
He has given us the authority to overcome Satan's temptations and temptations, the power of the name of Jesus, the promise of answering prayers, the promise of Immanuel, and the promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
(James 4:7) "Therefore submit yourselves to God. Oppose the devil, and he will flee from you."
(Acts 3:6) "Silver and gold I have none, but what I have I give I give in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth," said Peter.
(Matthew 7:7) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”
(Matthew 28:19-20) "Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always to the end of the world. I will be with you."
Nevertheless, because we do not have faith and have doubts, we cannot get out of these worries, worries, and fall into Satan's temptations.
Therefore, joy disappears, complaints arise, only irritability, resentment, and eventually falling into sin.
2. How to solve these worries and concerns?
1) Those who have left God will return to God (reception and repentance).
Augustine - O God, You made me for Your sake, and I am restless until I abide in You.
(John 1:12) “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
Those who have not yet accepted Jesus as the Christ must receive Jesus into their soul, mind, life, and whole life and life.
(Romans 10:10) "With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation."
Believe with your heart and confess with your mouth, so that you can embrace Jesus throughout your life and live a wonderful life.
Also, those who became discouraged from believing and turned away from the Lord, or those who fell away from the Lord because of the worldly worries and trials of problems, must repent and turn back quickly.
The sooner you come back, the more you fall asleep.
Because if you leave it alone, the later situation is worse than the first.
Nothing bothers me more than regret.
There is nothing as precious as turning away as soon as you realize it.
Please come back to God as soon as possible and live as a proud child of God.
2) We must fight and win against the forces of Satan.
We must put on the full armor of God and have the authority God has given us to oppose and overcome.
I must resist and be convinced that I have the authority to inherit all the inheritance of God and that no satanic force can resist the name of Jesus Christ.
we can win
Please put the name of Jesus first.
Jesus is the One who has all authority in heaven and on earth.
(Matthew 28:18) "Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."
Jesus not only overcame the devil himself, but he also gave us the power and authority to overcome the devil.
In the name of Jesus, I pray in the name of the Lord that all of our saints will fight against the powers of Satan and overcome any temptation by wearing the full armor of God.
3) It is the assurance of faith in the Word of God.
It is Satan's greatest effort to deepen unbelief, weaken faith, and cause doubts to arise.
I hope you will firmly hold onto what God has promised us and the covenant He has given us through His Word, and believe without doubting.
Faith is the way to win.
Faith is what triumphs.
4) Lastly, we testify that Jesus is the Christ.
What does God want most from our children?
Why did God call us?
Why was our church established in Yeongwol?
Why are we given positions?
It is to testify to the name of Esu.
Why was the Holy Spirit given to us?
It is for evangelism.
(Acts 1:8) "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Why is the Lord with us even at this time?
(Matthew 28:18-20) "Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me; therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and I have commanded you Teach them to observe all that they have said, behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”
It is to preach Jesus.
Why did you promise to answer prayers?
It's for evangelism.
What is the reason for your worries, anxieties and concerns?
It is to fulfill God's wishes.
Listen to these words.
"Therefore, do not be anxious and say, "What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? All these things the Gentiles seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ask, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:31-33).
