If you believe in Jesus? (Acts 2:42)
There are two kinds of people in the world: those with life like fertilized eggs and those without life like unfertilized eggs. Those who have life believe in Jesus and live a life of being born again and do not get frustrated even when trials come, but there are people who do not have life, but it is the same as a person who is very weak. They come to church for different purposes, so they live unchanging lives with the sole purpose of receiving blessings. Therefore, a person without life tends to collapse quickly when tribulation and trials come. We must believe in Jesus and come to church to glorify God, and we must be born again as saints and live a church-centered life. From the cradle to the grave, we must be cared for through the church and receive the blessing of a spiritual life. Therefore, if you not only pray, dedicate, and be faithful for the church, but also love it, you can receive blessings from a spiritual source through the church. What kind of life should we live if we truly believe in Jesus?
First, we must respect the servants of the Lord (v. 42 first half).
The early church members were taught by the apostles. The reason Korea was able to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup was because they met a great coach. In order to receive praise and blessings from God and people, you must follow the guidance of the priest and learn. If you do not learn, you cannot grow properly. In the event where Jesus accomplished the miracle of the wedding feast in Cana (John 2:1~11), we can pay attention to those who obeyed Jesus' command in a situation where they could not obey. He emphasizes to obey and to be obedient as those who obeyed the command, “Draw water and bring it to the banquet hall.” (John 2:5) Obedience with joy and it is beneficial to those who obey. (Hebrews 13:17) Church Center The man of Jesus, the man who trusts and loves the priest. It is recorded in the Bible that if we trust God and trust in the prophets, we will prosper. (2 Chronicles 20:22) Those who love the priests can receive grace from the Word and receive blessings without fail.
Second, we must cherish our character (verse 42).
The members of the early church lived a life of fellowship, breaking bread, and using things in common (verses 42-44). Although many churches are full of selfishness in modern times, beautiful churches value each other's personalities. Therefore, we should strive to fellowship and gather with each other. In each district and institution of the church, it can be said that it is a church like a church when efforts are made to gather in the church. Those who respect the character of the saints are the true people of Jesus.
Third, we must focus on prayer. (Section 42, second half)
Prayer has several meanings. In particular, believers who do not pray cannot receive grace. They are knowledgeable but live unchanging lives. Praying believers live a life that is always changing as the Word touches their hearts. Prayer is like a channel of grace. Therefore, those who pray a lot can receive grace. In particular, the longer you believe in Jesus Christ, the more you need to pray. Not only prayer, but also dedication, service, and loyalty are the key to maintaining faith. Therefore, I believe that we should become beautiful saints who can please God and those around us.
