Title: Do You Believe in Resurrection?

165 Glory to the Lord
Today is the day Jesus was resurrected. It is the day that He died on the cross, broke the power of death and rose to life. It is said that every religion has its own salvation. But it's all fake. Because all the heads of that religion are dead. But it did not survive. Only Jesus is alive. Who is Jesus?
Jesus is God who came as a man. God came to this earth in a human body to save people, died on the cross to bear the sins of man, and rose to life the third day after death.
This means that our body will die, but our rotten body will also come back to life on the day Jesus returns. That is why we are not afraid of death. When we die, our souls go to Heaven (Paradise). We enjoy rest there, and on the day Jesus returns, our bodies come to life and become united with our souls to meet the Lord in the air. It is a wedding ceremony held in the air.
Chapter 15 is the culmination of this letter. At that time, there were those in the church in Corinth who did not believe in the resurrection, which was influenced by Greek philosophy. Even the Sadducees do not believe in the resurrection. Paul is testifying of this fact to these people, and to those in the Corinthian church who were deceived about the resurrection. Why should we believe in the resurrection of Jesus?
1. If you do not believe in the resurrection, there is no salvation.
1 Corinthians 15:1 Brethren, I make you aware of the gospel that I have preached to you, which you received, and you stand in it.
1 Corinthians 15:2 By this you will be saved, if you hold fast to the words I have preached and have not believed in vain
Paul only testifies of the cross and resurrection of Jesus.
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:10 With the heart a man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Paul testifies that he is saved by believing and confessing in his heart the words I preached, Jesus as the Lord, the blood of the cross, and the resurrection. Stephen also witnessed this and was martyred. Paul was also martyred while preaching this.
Therefore, it is said that if you do not believe this precious teaching in vain, you will be saved through it. I bless you all who believe in this belief as it is.
2. The Resurrection is a historical fact.
1 Corinthians 15:3 I first told you what I received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:4 He was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures
1 Corinthians 15:5 He appeared to Cephas, and later to the twelve
1 Corinthians 15:6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, of whom most of them are still alive, and some are asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:7 After that he appeared to James, and then to all the apostles,
1 Corinthians 15:8 Last but not least, he appeared to me as one born
Mark 16:14 Afterward, while the eleven were eating, Jesus appeared to them and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardened heart, because they did not believe the words of those who had seen him alive.
Mark 16:15 And he said, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Paul says that he appeared to the two disciples on the way down to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35) and later appeared to more than five hundred brothers (v. 6) and finally to Paul himself (v. 8).
Even if there are only two witnesses, we accept the evidence as true. How much less is this numerous evidence? The Resurrection of Christ was not just a myth or a fictional story, but a historical and real event.
3. Resurrection can only be seen with the eyes of faith.
Jesus asks Martha, Lazarus' sister, who mourns the death of his brother.
John 11:24 Martha said, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.
John 11:25 Jesus said to them, I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me will live even if he dies.
John 11:26 Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?
Joh 11:27 And he said, ?쏽es, Lord, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God who is to come into the world.
??His brother, Lazarus, had been dead for four days, but he was alive. But at the call of Jesus, the rotten body jumped up and walked out alive. This fact clearly shows that the dead are resurrected.
Therefore, it shows that the resurrection is a miracle that can only be seen and can happen through faith. The resurrection of Christ is a historical fact, but the fact that only believers in the world have accepted it today proves this well. Faith is the driving force that makes the impossible possible and the source of seeing the truth as truth.
We must preach the forgiveness and resurrection of the cross.
1 Corinthians 15:9 I am the least of the apostles, and I am not worthy to be called an apostle because I persecuted the church of God.
1 Corinthians 15:10 But it is by the grace of God that I am what I am, and his grace that was given to me was not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:11 Therefore I and them preached in the same way, and thus you also believed.
??Paul remembers his past and confesses that he was called as an apostle by God's grace.
And I confess that I was saved by grace, not by keeping the law.
That is why we preach the cross and resurrection in verse 11.
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
What should we tell the world about living the life of a Witness?
If you believe in Jesus, your sins are forgiven. And when you die, your soul goes to heaven. And when Jesus returns, our rotten bodies will be resurrected. to convey this. This is the life of a witness.
The gospel is not complicated. It is to preach the redemption of the cross and the resurrection of the rotten body.
John 5:28 Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice.
John 5:29 Those who have done good will come out to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.
??People must die. After that, there is the judgment. Those who believe in Jesus and have their sins forgiven will come to life through the resurrection of life. However, those who die without believing in Jesus are raised to life through the resurrection of judgment. Those who survived will suffer eternally in eternal hell and live in hell forever.
One will live forever in Heaven with the Lord, but the other will live forever in Hell.
Whether we believe it or not, we must tell it.
That is why we believe that salvation is a blessing, a blessing that cannot be exchanged for anything in the world, a gift, and a grace. If you always have this precious hope of resurrection in your heart, what will you be anxious about in the world? What in the world is there to be afraid of?
Therefore, I pray that you and I will not only live by this faith, but also spread this news to everyone we meet (*)
