Title: Don't Lose Your Mind

Joshua 5:9-12 Don't lose your original mind
There are countless Internet marketing and Internet companies these days. While it has the advantage of being able to start with little capital, there are also many factors that lead to failure. But if you prepare well, it can be a worthwhile undertaking.
‘Remember when you were a frog tadpole and don’t be conceited.
It is undoubtedly a phrase to keep in mind for the national economy, companies, and even individuals.
Years ago, when the IMF financial crisis hit our economy, I said, “We popped champagne too quickly.” It is that individuals, society, and the nation were all in turmoil, falling into self-confidence so easily while accomplishing a miracle for a short period of time. In the end, we were faced with a major crisis.
The same is true in the life of faith.
Surprisingly, there are many crises in faith. When a crisis strikes in a faith that feels like a small part of life, everything is set to falter. The heart, body, home, and parts of life are staggering and becoming difficult.
Ultimately, if you don't win, you will leave God. An old woman moved into our building's rooftop. I found you He is said to have attended a church in the past, and his children attend Catholic and Protestant churches. Your religion is Buddhism / You converted to Buddhism at church, so please don't tell me to go to church. I often see people like that around me.
I don't know for what reason, but it's very, very sad. All I can hope is that I can turn back and come to our Lord Jesus. Please pray always.
One of the reasons why our faith is shaken and we have lost God is because we have lost the original intention of our faith. He could not overcome the various problems he faced because he had lost the “original heart of faith,” the grace of God that saved us.
While the Israelites are preparing to attack Jericho after crossing the Jordan River, God tells them that they must prepare first. First, perform circumcision. I said this two weeks ago. Those of you who have lost your memory will be able to see it again by going to the sermons on the church website. To Joshua and all the people of Israel, who were about to go to war, God gave the second order. Keep the Passover. “Keep the Passover”
Why did he tell Israel to keep the Passover, right before the war? We want to find the meaning and share grace together.
First, the command to keep the Passover is “Do not lose your original intention.”
Text 5:10 “The children of Israel camped at Gilgal, and on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening they celebrated the Passover in the plains of Jericho.”
The Passover began the night before the Exodus when God poured the blood of the Lamb on the doorposts. They did not know why the blood of the lamb had to be applied to the doorpost that night. I didn't know why I couldn't leave the house. But the next day they saw and heard with their own eyes. I knew that death came to the house without the blood of the Passover lamb, and death did not enter the house where the blood was. They knew that the blood of the Passover lamb was the salvation. And at the same time freed from the long slavery in Egypt.
All Israel took the first step toward the land of blessing, singing God's wonderful salvation.
As they looked to God to lead and Moses the leader, they began their journey of exodus.
But the night before they attacked Jericho, they were told to keep the Passover again.
He tells them to prepare a one-year-old ram, cut the ram's body, put the blood on the doorposts, and eat unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
This is a message to remind us of the wonderful salvation that God saved us in the past in Egypt.
It is a message to see God's salvation, to look only to God, and to restore the original intention you followed.
Jericho is huge. The people of that city are also majestic and all of them are warriors. How much of a fear must have come when you had to fight them?
At the most, they had been living in the wilderness for 40 years, but would they have had their weapons properly? Did you have any military power? Perhaps the time before the war was more difficult than the 40 years of living in the wilderness.
God made them keep the Passover to remind all Israel of the God who saved them after 430 years of slavery in Egypt and killing thousands of Egyptians.
These times always keep me from losing my focus. It helps you draw closer to the Lord. The more I think about it, the more grateful I become and the stronger I become.
Then, saints, when was your Passover?
When was the Passover when salvation was given, life was given, changes were made, and tears were shed endlessly with passionate emotions? Do you remember that moment when you rejoiced in following the Lord?
If we can restore that initial intention, we will be able to beat anything we have now.
As long as our original intention does not change, we will build up stronger people of God.
Second, to keep the Passover is to renew grace.
The Passover does not exist only in the past. It's not just the ritual of applying the blood of the lamb to the doorposts. The Passover foreshadows the blood of the Lamb today, Jesus Christ. Anyone who goes under the cross of Jesus Christ will experience the Passover.
For reference, the Church of God Ahn Sahng-hong Witness Society interprets this Passover as the past Passover and says that the Passover should be kept. They speak of Protestantism without the Passover ceremony as heresy, but it is clear that we are already in the Passover because we are at the bottom of the cross in the name of Jesus Christ at this time as well. They do not know that they are wrong if they do not serve Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
Also, through the sacramental service, the Passover feast is kept.
Matthew 14:23 After that, he took the cup again, gave thanks and gave it to them, and when they drank from it he said, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
On the day of the Passover, the blood of a one-year-old lamb was shed, and the blood was applied to the doorposts, and the body of the lamb became food.
Jesus was also slain like a lamb and beaten until his whole body was torn. Blood poured from his torn and torn body. And he took up the cross for our sins and went up to Golgotha Hill. This crucifixion was so serious that it was never practiced on its own people, the Romans. At best, it was a throat cut. But Jews were punished by crucifixion on Gentiles. And seeing it, the Romans felt pleasure.
Jesus was already clothed in blood-stained clothes and carrying a heavy cross. And from the hills, the clothes that had already adhered to the flesh and clothes were stripped off by the Roman soldiers at random. -The pain at that time = burns, peels off, blood spurts out,
Nails were nailed to both hands and feet, and a crown of thorns was placed on his head. That unspeakable pain.
The blood came down on a wooden cross and covered all the earth and all mankind.
The blood of Jesus washed away all our sins and gave us life and freedom.
Christian faith begins with the blood of Jesus. The grace of God was given through the death of Jesus on the cross. When you experience the blood of Jesus, the power of sin and mission melts away,
Conflicts in human relationships that have been tangled like a thread are resolved.
When we are under the cross of Jesus, sinners will repent.
This is an example I read in a book)
Rev. Charles Finney held a revival meeting in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
-again. There's a bar and a gambling table right out this door. If I've spent all my money on the gamblers, do I still have any hope? = It is written in the Bible that the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, forgives any sin.
- With a pistol loaded = I once married a woman. I got married by tricking myself into being a capable businessman. I am a playboy and a gambler. Knowing this, his wife is lying in bed with a severe shock. Is there still hope for someone like me? = Sir, your past was as dark as darkness. But the Bible says that the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, cleanses us from all sins.
Hearing this, the man listened to the pastor's words, got down on his knees and repented of his sins. And there is a testimony that after accepting Jesus as the Savior, he went home, broke all the wine bottles, gathered his family and prayed.
Jesus' death was not a simple event.
The blood shed by Jesus Christ is not simply the blood shed.
He shed for me and all your sins.
We are sitting here because of the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ and His death on the cross.
The blood of Jesus leads each of us to the river of grace.
Through the blood of Jesus, the unspeakable grace of the Holy Spirit is given to us.
saints,
I hope that grace can be restored again through the blood of Jesus.
Do not expect anything, do not think of anything, but long for grace through the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus will save you, and the blood of Jesus will set you free. The blood of Jesus will restore everything.
