Title: Don't Oppose God! (Le 26:27-39)
Contents
If you tell a Christian who believes and follows God, 'Do not oppose God', he will surely wave your hand in response, saying, "How dare I go against God? But is that really the case?
In today's Word, God tells the Israelites, "You have been against me, and I will punish you against you" (verses 27-28).
How did the Israelites rebel against God?
They did not heed the word of God.
They did not listen carefully to the word of God and did not live according to the word.
They did what God told them to do and did what God told them not to do.
Isn't it against God to do what God hates and dislikes without listening to God's word?
What in this world is more foolish and foolish than to resist God?
God says that He will punish you 7 times more for rebelling against God. (verse 28)
As a result of the punishment given to them, the starving parents said that a terrible thing would happen that would eat their children. In fact, this happened in Samaria during the reign of Jehoram, the ninth king of northern Israel. (2 Kings 6:28-29) He said that the city would be destroyed by the enemy, the slaughter would be carried out, and the people of Israel would be scattered or taken captive. We know it well from the Bible.
Dear all! Please do not oppose God.
It's not just unbelievers or atheists who oppose God.
Anti Christians are not alone against God.
If you say you believe in God, but there is something other than God in the center of your life, that is against God. What is at the center of your life right now? May God be the center rather than money, work, people, and entertainment.
Are you not doing what God hates and hates right now? I hope that by letting go of it, you will be freed from the disobedience that was against God.
I hope that we will be able to heed God's words with fear, saying, “I will punish you seven times more” to the Israelites who resisted God.
I hope today will be a day when I decided to boldly throw away everything in my life that was against God and put it into practice.
