"The Summary of Revelation 12"
-Dragon and Church-
Revelation 12
1. Note that earth's history is always moving with its roots in heaven.
Revelation 12:1 says, “A great miracle appeared in heaven”, and Revelation 12:3 says, “Another miracle appeared in heaven”.
Revelation 12:7 says, “There is war in heaven.” Revelation 12:10 says, "There was a loud voice in heaven saying,"
Heaven is the source of great miracles (Jesus' birth and the church), and heaven is the source of Satan's activities (another miracle). Heaven is the place of satanic warfare, and heaven is the place where the martyrs sing great odes. The principle of the visible historical world is derived from the principle of the invisible spiritual world.
2. This world is a battlefield of miracles versus miracles (Revelation 12:1, 3).
The church movement is a movement of great miracles from heaven. And Satan's movement to hinder, challenge, and annihilate the church movement is another miracle.
It is a battle between the Holy Spirit and the evil spirit, and it is a battle between spirits and spirits. It is a battle between two absolutes.
Heaven is the source of miracles.
The Jesus movement (salvation) is the law of life, the Holy Spirit.
The movement of the dragon is the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). It is a battle between spirit and spirit.
3. Let us be convinced that Satanic movements always result in defeat (Rev. 12:5, 8, 14, 16).
Satan (dragon) first tried to kill the child (man) that the woman was trying to give birth to, but failed. Jesus was born, lived, died, resurrected, and ascended into heaven.
Satan (dragon) prevented Jesus' ascension a second time. But he was defeated by Michael and his messengers and cast out of heaven.
Satan (dragon) persecuted a woman who gave birth the third time, and tried to kill her by spitting out water like a river. But the woman was able to survive with the help of the eagle's wings and the land that opened its mouth and swallowed up the river.
4. Let's not forget that the true church is protected by God's absolute miracle.
The woman's childbirth was accomplished by the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35; Matt. 1:18).
Jesus' sitting on the throne was triumphant by the servants of Michael and his angels (Rev. 12:7). The woman who gave birth to a man did not die with the help of the two wings of the great eagle and the earth that swallowed the water with its mouth open (Rev. 12:14, 16).
This is the sure guarantee that God has promised for our salvation. Let's be sure that God's people are always living in a bonanza of miracles.
The Holy Spirit, spirit creatures (angels), two wings of an eagle, and the ground opening its mouth were all mobilized for the victory of the saints.
5. The secret to the victory of a true Christian is always clear (Rev. 12:17).
It is ① to possess the commandment of God, that is, Jesus Christ himself, the word of truth, and ② to have the confirmation of faith in that Jesus.
The main ingredient in God's commandments is the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11). The evidence of Jesus is the life of believers (Revelation 12:11). When a Christian has this, final victory is always guaranteed.
6. Let's not forget that Satan's battle fortress is on the sand of the sea (Revelation 12:17).
It is the world and its inhabitants. It is a stronghold of the strategies of those on the earth. However, in this world (Satan's battle fortress), we are living in the church, which is a satellite of the gods. The flood seemed to be a threat to the ark, but in reality the ark was lifted because of the flood.
Even on the sands of the sea of this world, the Church does not give in and continues the gospel movement.
7. We must keep in mind that the battle is not over and a greater battle is ahead of us (Rev. 12:17).
Satan was said to be ready for battle to fight the remnant of the woman (Revelation 12:17). Now, he is preparing to fight the saints by using other beasts, making his last move (Rev 13:1~18).
But victory is guaranteed (Rev. 12:8, 10-11).
