Title: Dreams in Bethel

Bible: Genesis 28:10-22

2010.1.24.daytime

We dream and God makes it happen.

People without dreams perish. Dreams make life happy. Dreams give new strength to life. Dreams give us courage. Dreams give us hope in the midst of despair. Therefore, dear saints, dream your dreams. I believe that God will surely make your dreams come true.

1. God who made dreams come true in times of crisis

Jacob had a dream in Bethel. God appeared to Jacob in a dream. Let's take a look at Jacob's situation at this time.

You are being chased by your brother. It is a field inhabited by wild animals. They use the sky as their roof and stones as their pillows to sleep. The road ahead is also disappointing. Indeed, Jacob was faced with a great crisis in his life.

During this crisis, God appeared in Jacob's dream. We must dream in times of crisis. Many people become discouraged when faced with a crisis. Disappointed. pessimistic about life. And a lot of people give up.

However, God's people should dream in times of crisis. God appears in a dream in times of crisis. Therefore, if there are believers who thought they were in a crisis right now, please dream. I believe that God will appear in your dreams and meet you.

2. Dreams make you see a ladder connected to God.

Jacob sees an amazing sight in a dream. I saw a ladder, and it reached the sky. And angels ascend and descend on that ladder.

No matter how big a ladder you've seen, you've never seen one as big as this one. Do you know what this ladder means?

1) The first is the path to the throne of God.

This ladder is the only way man can go to God. this ladder

“I am the way, the truth, and the life,” Jesus said.

Jesus said, 'No one comes to the Father except through me.'

Therefore, the only way to God is through Jesus Christ.

2) The ladder is going up one step at a time.

The ladder does not go up several steps at a time. Sometimes, many people want their life's dreams come true all at once. But that dream comes true when you go up one step at a time. We cannot reach the place of tomorrow without crossing the stepping stone called today. But if you go up one step at a time, you will surely reach the top. So, don't give up along the way.

3) The angel goes up with prayer through this ladder and comes down with answers and blessings.

But the angels are going up and down the ladder. This angel is God's messenger. They are spiritual beings who run errands between God and the saints, that is, God's people. When that angel ascends, he ascends with our prayers and wishes, and when he descends, he descends with God's answers and blessings. Hallelujah!

Jacob's ladder dream. Even now, God is sending His messengers to come up to God through the ladder with your prayers and wishes. And when the time is right, God will come down to you with answers to prayers and blessings to the angels. Hallelujah!

Therefore, we should always pray. Pick it up in the hands of angels and send it to Hana Man. Please send your wishes as well. I trust that a kind and loving God will hear your prayers, answer your groans and grant your wishes. Dreams and wishes come true.

God always looks at you with the eyes of love

God's loving ear is always attentive to you

You shine a bright light in the darkness and answer your little groan

Wherever you are, turn to the Lord and look only to the Lord.

3. Dreams make you see things that will happen in the future.

Jacob meets God through a dream and receives a wonderful promise from God.

In today's text, God appears to Jacob and first teaches him who he is.

1) Who is God?

God of grandfather Abraham- His grandfather heard the word of God and left his hometown in Ur of the Chaldeans and settled here.

The God of his father Isaac--Isaac also received God's words and instructions and lived with God's blessings. When there was a famine in each place and there was no food, God allowed Isaac to farm and reap a hundredfold.

Growing up, he heard many explanations about God, but he had never met God. But it was here that I met that God. From then on, the God of Jacob is added.

2) That God gave the vision.

* I will give you the land on which you lie.-The land. Territory. It means to build a country.

* He will spread his descendants to the east, west, north, and south   meaning that he will give a people who can form a nation, that is, a nation.

* All peoples of the earth will be blessed in you and your descendants.-Sovereignty. says right. These are the three major elements of the country. He gives you the vision of forming a great nation.

So God changes Jacob's name in the future. It's not Jacob, it's Israel. This is the vision God has given you.

3) The God who guaranteed the promise

And God does not end with giving a vision, but makes certain promises.

Promise of companionship - I will be with you and protect you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land.

The promise of protection -- and I will not depart until the promise is fulfilled.

“I am with you, I will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you to accomplish all that I have given you. You did.”

The future is guaranteed for those who dream like this.

If you dream, your future is guaranteed, so no matter how difficult it may be, you can move forward without being discouraged. I pray that you will be guaranteed the promises of God to those who dream and dream.

4. Discover the house of God.

Jacob woke up from his dream and was terrified. The reason is that I met God here, whom I had only heard of with my ears. So he confesses that God is here.

“Jacob awoke from sleep and said, Surely the LORD is here, and I did not know it.”

“Then he was afraid, and said, Awe. Here, this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

After a dream, Jacob finds the house of God. And they discovered the passageway to heaven and the gate to the kingdom of heaven.

* Where is God? It is in the house of God. Where is the house of God?

That's the church. It is the temple of God. The temple is also where you stand. This is where you are sleeping. This is your dream place.

* Where is the gate of heaven? It's right there in the church. When Jesus established the church, he gave the church the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, the church is the gate to heaven and the key to that gate.

So please remember that the church can either open or close the gates of heaven. And Jacob changed the name of the place.

--Bethel--House of God-

conclusion

Dear brothers and sisters, dream of Bethel. This is the Bethel that Jacob dreamed of. It is the temple of God. It is the dream of the church and temple of God. Meet God here. Go to the throne of God from here. Bethel is a beautiful reunion church. It is Bethel, where there is the key to the kingdom of heaven and there is a way to the throne of God. I pray in the name of Jesus that you dream of Bethel and that your dreams come true.
