2000 years ago this morning!
Three women, Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James (verse 10) came to the tomb where the body of the Lord was buried at dawn on the third day after Jesus died on the cross. It was to apply the prepared spices (Luke 24:1).
However, the stone that had blocked the tomb was removed (2) and the body of the Lord was not found. (3) Two men in dazzling robes suddenly appeared while they were panicking. (4) The women were bowing their faces in fear. said (they were the angels of the Lord)
"Why do you seek the living one among the dead? He is not here, but is risen. Remember what he said to you when he was in Galilee. must live on." The three women heard these words through two angels.
