Title: God Who Protects Me
From birth I have been committed to you; from the time I was born you have been my God (Psalm 22:10).
At the age of 18, Afrank van der Maaden became one of the most outstanding violinists in Iwashiox County. But one day, while helping his father with his work at the blacksmith's shop, a lump of red hot iron fell on his left hand holding the violin string. The burnt hand left only the thumb and four fingers cut off. His splendid life, which was just about to bloom as a violinist, turned to nothing. There was no way to contain the sorrow. However, his faith in God's help did not change at all. He decided to play the violin with his left hand. He practiced holding the bow with his almost useless left hand and the string with his right hand for hours a day. Years later, he was honored to become the premier violinist at the Todashi Aiwa Seaox County Symphony.
God protects Christians. From the time you are in your mother's womb, you take care of and accompany you throughout the process of being born and growing up. Even in desperate situations like being alone, in the torment of the sky falling, He is holding us up. I pray that God's grace that never changes and protects us overflows in the lives of the members of our spirituality today.
God, I pray in the name of Jesus that I may live fully in the guidance and protection of the Lord in the given life and time today. Amen
