Title: Education through suffering/Psalm 119:65-72

Content Education through suffering/Psalm 119:65-72

Introduction: Verse 71 "It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes." This psalm is the longest chapter in the Old and New Testaments and is called "Meditation on the Law" according to the command of Deuteronomy 6:1-9. In particular, it is famous as an alphabetic poem in Hebrew, and it consists of 176 verses with 8 verses arranged in the order of 22 letters of the alphabet. As a complete legal poem, the law, the Word, the evidence, the Way, the law or decree, the ordinance, the commandment or the precept, the judgment or the ordinance, etc. are missing only in verse 5, but instead, you can't help but be surprised at the perfect organization overlapping with the other 5 verses. The author is presumed to be from the time of David, Ezra, or Maccabees, but this is uncertain. This part begins with the ninth letter of the Hebrew word, Te, and it is said that God, who is good, was kind to the saints even in the midst of suffering and taught them usefully through the word, so that they learned it well, so he loved and cherished the word.

Main article: 1. I repented through suffering (James 5:13-16).

You have done good to your servant, O LORD, according to your word. (Verse 65) The good God grants the grace of apology and is good to the saints when they humbly repent in the midst of suffering according to the truthful word (41,58,89,96,170, Hos 14:1). -7, Isaiah 55:1-9, 2 Chronicles 6:11-18) Teach me understanding and knowledge, since I have believed your commandments (verse 66). (121-128, Phil 1:9, James 1:5) Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word. (Verse 67) He did not obey and went astray, but through suffering he realized and learned that he disobeyed and disobeyed God, turned from his wrong path, and returned to God with all his heart, and repented thoroughly (1 Samuel 7:3-5, Psalm 6, 32, 38, 51,102,130,143)

2. I became obedient through suffering (Hebrews 5:7-10)

You are good and do good. Teach me in your statutes (verse 68). I want to turn back from wrongdoing and understand that God, who is always good and merciful, taught me in Your statutes so that I can understand and understand them.(27,33-35,12) Verse 106:1) The proud have lied to attack me, but I will keep Your precepts with all my heart. (Verse 69) Even when the proud who do not obey Your laws innocently harass and harm me, I have tried to keep the word with all my heart. (Verses 51, 78, 85, 122) Their hearts are fat and fat, but I delight in Your law. (Verse 70) The hearts of those who do not follow you and proud are fat as fat, and their spiritual senses are dull and they do not understand the word of God and become unrighteous. Even if we try to harm (Psalm 17:10, James 5:1-7), we will love and rejoice in the word of the Lord and keep it with our whole heart until the end (verses 16, 24, 33-35, 97-104).

3. We were made perfect through suffering (1 Peter 5:7-11).

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, so that I may learn Your statutes. (Verse 71) The good God has done good, and even when the saints have erred and suffered chastisement, they also use it as an opportunity for useful education. Verse 68) The law of your mouth is more precious to me than a thousand thousand gold.(Verse 72) As you have promised, when you repent in trouble and obey in faith, you love and cherish the word by giving you grace and blessing.( 1-8,14,127,111, 163,19:10, Proverbs 8:10) The sufferings of the saints lead to salvation without regret (2 Corinthians 7:10) and complete obedience to God (Psalm 51:1- 19, Heb 5:7-10) It is said that it is completely pleasing to be tempted by fiery trials as it produces a work of grace that is refined like gold (Job 23:10). 3:3, James 1:2,12, 1 Peter 1:7, 4:12-19)

Conclusion: As the text is like a 'poetry of the law', in each verse, the Word (65, 67), commandment (66), ordinance (68, 71), law (69), law (70, 72), etc., are expressed in the words of God. It is a content that we love and cherish. Especially, the more we suffer, the more we learn to know and obey the Word. (17-32,49-56,81-88,121-128,153-176) Even in the midst of suffering, the good God is kind to us according to the word of grace so that we can repent and obey in faith. Even when the proud people who do not follow God lie and try to attack us, we will learn the word of the Lord better and obey him, so that we will be more perfect. By being blessed, God and His Word are regarded as more precious treasures. (1-8,33-48,57-64,73-80,97-112,129-136,145-152,19:7-11)
