Title: Empty Blessings to Gaius

An empty blessing to Gaius 3 John 2
G never forgets those who help the servants of the Lord. John gave Gaius three great blessings. The blessing that Gaio received is a blessing for the soul. There is nothing as blessed as a person who has G in his heart and heaven. The following is a blessing that all things go well. For example, all life, including children's education, material business, family, faith, and the future will prosper. And it is a blessing that makes the body strong. We must believe that G, who knows our constitution, will feed us with good things just as he fed manna to Israel for 40 years.
At this time, we would like to share grace with the title of “Blessings empty to Gaius”. If we divide the world's 6 billion people into two, we can divide them into those who are blessed and those who are not. What kind of person do you want to be? What we should truly believe and be sure of is that G will never forget those who labor and are faithful for the Lord as children of G who believe in Lord J X for the Lord. The Bible says that you will be remembered by G forever, in this life and in the life to come, and you will dwell in grace and blessings.
We see that in Gaius. In Romans 16:23, the Bible introduces Gaius as “the food of the whole church”. Sikju is called ξ?νο? (xenos), which means ‘to welcome strangers’. As such, Gaius was a central figure in the church who helped the visiting ministers and served the saints in many ways. How precious are you?
John wishes this Gaius a great blessing. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, as your soul prospers.” If the soul is prosperous, everything is prosperous, and you are strong, is there any greater blessing than this? Thus G will never forsake those who are faithful for the Lord. Especially, if you dedicate your life to helping G's servant, G will give you great blessings. We hope that our members will also receive the same blessing as Gaius.
So, what was Gaio's blessing?
1. It is a blessing for the soul to prosper.
1) The blessing of a well-being in the soul is one of the blessings. No matter how much wealth one has and enjoys wealth and glory, even if he has a healthy body, if he does not receive the blessing of a prosperous soul, he is like the foolish rich man in Luke 12, and like the rich man in Luke 16, he regrets not living his life wrong only after he dies. Either way it will be of no use.
2) There is a term “Gaio's Law”. How did Gaius become a good soul? Loved G, loved the servants of the Lord, and served the saints well. People say they can't afford to pay attention to anyone. but not so. Whether my heart is free or not, if I serve in the name of the Lord, G will give me peace. He gives not only peace but also material things. This is called Gaio's Law. The innkeeper Gaio appears in John Bunyan's Journey to the Ages. A pilgrim named 'Honesty' poses a riddle to the innkeeper, Gaio. “Who gets more the more they throw away?” Gaio answers. "He's a giver of what he has. He'll get as much as he gives, maybe ten times more." answer.
However, not long ago, a survey result came out saying, 'What Gaio said was true'. In the United States, when families with the same conditions were divided into two categories and compared, the household that gave an additional $100 a year earned an additional $375. The more you donate to a good cause, the more it will be created. This is Gaius' law, and the truth of the Bible. That's why Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it will be given to you; and it will be given to you, pressed generously, pressed down, shaken and overflowing. In the text, Gaius is the person who had that experience.
2. It is a blessing for all things.
1) Gaius was a man who walked in the truth. Thus, he received recognition from all the saints. It is not uncommon for several people to have a common opinion of one person. However, Gaius was a person who was recognized and respected by everyone. It is because he not only believed the truth, but became a walker in the truth with all his body and with all his life. He was a person of faith whose faith confessed with his lips and the confession of faith expressed through actions were united. It was because his heart was full of love for the Lord. To Gaius like this, John prayed for “prosperity in all things”. It's everything you do. Not just one thing, but everything. For example, it is a blessing to prosper in all life, including education of children, material things, business, family, and the future. If you are loyal for G, G will take responsibility for that as well.
2)G loves people of sincere faith and gives them grace. Greater grace is given to those who diligently live by faith and seek in faith. Of course, having faith and not having faith are different, but those who have great faith and little faith, those who have a background of prayer and those who do not have it, and those who are faithful and those who are not faithful are different.
Between 1901 and 1990, 404 people were awarded Nobel Prizes in natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, and medicine. If we analyze the religions of 404 people, they are Christian 65%, Judaism 22%, Catholic 11%, Buddhist 0.9%, Muslim 0.1%. Combined, Christianity and Catholicism make up 98%. If you look at the countries that received the award, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany are all Christian countries in that order. And most of the recipients of the prize as Jews are people who have lived and studied in Christian countries.
What Gegmen Lee Kyung-gyu felt while broadcasting was that most of the great people are Christians. However, as it is a general broadcast, it is unfortunate that it cannot be announced. Look at Daniel and his three friends. He looked ten times better than the geniuses of Babylon. It didn't just happen. He prayed daily, turned away from sin, and feared God.
Blessings come from people, but blessings come from G. Ecclesiastes 5:18, “I have seen good and beautiful that a man eat and drink, and enjoy the pleasure out of all his toil under the sun, given by G, and this is his portion.” No one can get anything from the good or the bad, except from G.
3. It is the blessing of strength.
1) The saints are those who are used as instruments of G's glory. Physical health is very important as well as mental and mental health. As in the case of the Apostle Paul, except in a few special cases, in general, a person must be healthy in order to lead a good life of faith. Worship life, family life, social life, evangelism, service, loyalty You can do better if you are healthy. When J stopped by Peter's house, Peter's mother-in-law was lying in bed with a fever. He was healed by the Lord and was able to get up and serve.
“I pray that you may be well” John wishes Gaius good health. Paul urged Timothy to drink wine little by little, not just water, for your health. Prayer is something we cannot do unless the Father gives us will and wishes. Therefore, G wanted to give Gaio health. We hope that our members will also work hard to live for the Lord with a healthy body. G wants us to be healthy and has prepared the way for us. If you love G, G will guide you on the path of health from aunt to mother.
2) What is the path that G has prepared? First, the saints must be strong in their inner man, and the body must also be strong. For health, G raises the history of healing. In Exodus 15:26, it is said that I, Y, am the Y who heals you. Much of J's earthly ministry was to heal the sick, the weak, and the demon-possessed. And for health, we must repent of our sins and turn away from them. James 5:15-16 “The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If you have committed any sins, they will be forgiven you. Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The power that works is great.” - Saints must pray in faith for health. And we should pray for each other.
It is also necessary to take good care of your health on a daily basis. Just as believers must manage their faith well to have strong faith, they must also manage their health well. Moderate exercise, getting rid of laziness, eating well, not overeating, avoiding harmful things, taking adequate rest without overdoing it, making regular life a habit, working hard to receive the grace of G Need to pay, etc.
Dear saints,
Our Lord Jesus always lived a life of blessing. Let us also receive the grace that Gaio received. May we all not only believe in our Savior J X as our Savior, but also love G with all our hearts, help G's workers, walk in truth, and love the saints. Be more humble like Gaius. So, I pray in the name of the Lord that your souls may prosper, that all things may go well, and that you may become strong saints.
