Encounter is change (Luke 10:25-37)

To be beautiful, I put on makeup, wear pretty clothes, and decorate with jewelry.

But it is not very satisfying. This is because external beauty does not last long and is felt to be substantiated.

To be truly beautiful, you have to change your life anew.

However, it is not easy to become a new person.

However, if you meet God and meet the Savior Jesus, you will be born as a new person.

The lawyer asked Jesus what he had to do to gain eternal life.

Jesus asked how the law was written and how to read it.

The teacher of the law answered that we should love God with all our heart and love our neighbor.

Jesus said that your answer is correct, do as you say, and you will live.

The lawyer met Jesus, but no change can be expected.

It was because the motive that came to Jesus and met him had a malicious intent to put Jesus into temptation.

Although the teachers of the law knew the answer of the law well, they did not practice it, but rather used it as a tool to test and slander others.

The characteristic of a person who does not change is that he thinks he knows everything.

The lawyer asked Jesus again, "Who is my neighbor?" Jesus told the story of a Samaritan who healed a man who had been hit by a robber.

He asked who the neighbor of the robber was.

The lawyer replied that he was the one who showed mercy. Jesus said to go and do likewise.

The teacher of the law listened to Jesus, but no change could be expected.

Because he's asking a question to prove he's right

Because no matter what you hear, you cannot understand it.

The characteristic of a person who does not change is that he lives in self-righteousness.

If you are immersed in your own superiority and your own success and glory,

No matter how many words you learn and know, you do not change yourself.

The Samaritans were compared to Jesus, and the priests and Levites to teachers of the law.

The lawyer was well aware of the law, but in a situation where he had to put it into practice, he left the position on his own excuse.

But the Samaritan met a robber and saw a man dying.

He took pity on him, ran to him, tied him up, took him away, and took responsibility for his treatment.

Jesus came to find us who were like the dead after a robber, met us, and saved us.

He showed love by dying on the cross to atone for our sins.

A man who was killed by a robber met a Samaritan and came to life

Anyone who truly meets Jesus will have eternal life. The biggest change for a dead person is to come back to life.

Change does not come through self-effort.

When you meet Jesus, who is life, you are born anew and live a new life.

Jesus went to the lawyer and told him to do the same.

The life of the Samaritan is the image of Jesus and is the model for us to live today.

Jesus said to go and do likewise.

Everyone who met Jesus followed the life of Jesus. Change is action.

It is a life of love.
