Be wise
Ephesians 5:15-21
We are given only one life. Depending on the person, some people live the life given to them with no regrets or regrets, while others live a life of rags and debauchery despite living a long time.
How can I live the best life I can live when I am in front of the Lord? How can I live a life with no regrets?
I want to find the will of the Lord contained in this word and receive grace in my life.
Living wisely is someone who can prepare for the future. think of something specific
1. Someone who knows how to save time.
Save time. It may be difficult to understand, because saving time is saving metaphysical things. This means that you should not waste time to study, time to sweat, and time to prepare the necessary conditions for nurturing your dreams.
The time allotted to us is not infinite. The writer of Ecclesiastes said, “There is a time to gain and a time to forsake.”
That is, there is a time of youth, there is a time of adulthood, and there is a time of old age. There is a time to study, a time to write what you have studied, and a time to enjoy it through such work.
The time of youth does not last. Youth doesn't last. There are times when we need to pray and there are times when we receive grace through what we prayed for.
If you want to do the work of a young person when you are old, it will not work. Some sports say you should start young. If you start doing strenuous exercise in old age, you can die.
Someone said that God gave us a certain amount of food. Some say how much they eat in their lifetime, and some say they have decided how much they should eat in their lifetime.
When a person eats all the amount given to him, God will take him to heaven. So, in order to live a long life, you should not eat too much on a regular basis. Eating the right amount is to increase the time to live.
Likewise, God has given us a certain amount of time. If we use up this time in any way, we will die. A word of wisdom to think about. Therefore, it is necessary to divide the time and use it. A wise person does not waste time.
It is the drunken and debauched man who just throws away time. A person who does not know how to save time. We must live a wise life.
2. Don't waste your health.
Our health is also limited.
Sometimes, repairing a broken car makes us think about our bodily functions. The hardest thing in the world is iron, but as time goes by, iron also rusts, shatters, becomes warped and dented.
These days, I am doing the exercise of riding a car for 10 years. It is said that it is difficult to use it after 10 years. However, the average age of our body is said to be 70-80. Even though I used it a lot, I think I've been using it for a long time.
If we are going to use our body for a long time, it means that when our body is healthy, we should use it carefully and sparingly, rather than debauchery.
You shouldn't waste your health carelessly just because you're young. Careful use of your health can lead to a life that reaches an average life span.
To save time, it is important to save health. When you are healthy, you should take care of your health. To regain health after falling ill, time is wasted and wealth is wasted. When you are healthy, you should live a life that saves your health.
3. You must be able to save money.
When you have wealth, you should use it wisely.
In Genesis 41:1 and below, there is a story of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, having a dream.
The dream is as follows: Pharaoh stood by the river, and seven beautiful and fat cows came up from the river, and ate on the reeds. After that, seven other ferocious and skinny cows came up from the river and stood with them by the river. caught and eaten When I woke up, it was a dream.
I fell asleep again and dreamed. This time, the seven heads of grain, one stalk, and full of fidelity came forth. After that, seven heads of ears, thin and withered by the east wind, came out. Then the seven thin heads of grain devoured the seven full heads of grain. It was a dream when he woke up.
Pharaoh could not interpret this dream. Finally, when no one can interpret this dream, Joseph, who was imprisoned in the house of the guardsman, interprets the dream.
In Genesis 41:25-36, the scene of Joseph interpreting a dream is recorded. In other words, the seven beautiful and fat cows and the seven fertile heads of grain represent the seven years of plenty that will come in Egypt, and the seven ugly and thin cows and the seven thin heads of grain signify the seven years of famine that will come after the years of abundance. Now, for this work, he told me to save up a lot of grain when there were good years, so that I could prepare for seven more years of famine.
Joseph was in charge of preparing for this. So he was suddenly selected and became the prime minister of Egypt. Then he wisely prepared for a famine by using the riches of the year to save the people of Egypt, his father, and his brothers.
This passage tells us that when we receive the grace of obtaining wealth, we should save it well.
The important thing is that the Lord tells us not to store our wealth in this world, but to store our wealth in heaven.
To save time is to prepare well for the future with the time, health, wealth, knowledge, and talents given in this way.
In the text, it is said that saving time is 'you must be filled with the Holy Spirit'. He also said, 'We should respond to each other with poetry, hymns, and spiritual songs'. 'Sing to the Lord with all your heart, sing praises, give thanks for everything to God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, fear Christ and submit to one another'. We must be wise.
Amen.
