Title: Escape from the boring road
Contents
People today are eager to find satisfaction in power, profit, and pleasure.
The poet Cowper said that because people are looking for happiness in the wrong places, they are disappointed with what they find, and so they only walk the boring path of life.
The dictionary meaning of 'boredled' is 'a feeling of being lazy and tired. The mind and body are tired and there is a feeling of drowsiness.'
Life of bored people like this is boring and tiring. They are also good at making impressions and getting angry.
They don't even try to create their own borders of thinking and extend them outside of those borders.
There are too many people around us who are going down this boring path of life.
1. Why do people take the boring road?
Many people who feel bored have no destination in life.
Also, laziness leads people down the path of boredom.
At the end of the Roman Empire, people wanted a circus with bread. Because they needed something to fill their stomachs and something to appease their boredom. Rome, which had fallen into boredom with laziness, was doomed.
Wrong attitudes towards life lead to boredom
Two men cut firewood with axes. One young man did it non-stop. Others were resting and waking up.
But the firewood was similar. asked a man who worked non-stop. "No, I've been burning firewood nonstop, so why are the firewood similar?" Then another young man answered. "I sharpened my ax blade while I was off."
God taught us the importance of rest. At the time of the creation of the heavens and the earth, God told us to work 6 days and rest for one day, and God commanded us to rest while resting ourselves, but humans forget that command and live.
Over the past five years, more than 300 civil servants have died from overwork.
Statistics like this show well the phenomenon of workaholics in our society. However, the labor productivity of the most important Korean workers is only 68% of that of the US. It means that you work overtime and work hard, but you are not efficient.
There is a saying that Microsoft's career path is determined by Bill Gates' vacation. Bill Gates has a unique vacation program called Think Week. Twice a year, they live in a quiet villa and take vacations to envision the future.
One of the causes of boredom may be a kind of 'workaholic symptom'.
2. What is the price of being on the boring road?
Boredom makes us disrespectful to others.
We become indifferent to the various phenomena we experience in life, and we stop responding to them.
So, you are living a formal life.
It's a loss of enthusiasm. A passionate look in faith shows that "God is in us."
It means that God owns us.
A person in the midst of a life of boredom loses the sense of activity and awe of life that little children have, and a life without vitality takes its place.
Therefore, a person who falls into boredom will work without enthusiasm.
It is difficult to expect a bored employee to produce a good product.
A housewife in boredom makes the house a mess and doesn't know why.
How unhappy are you?
Losing happiness and satisfaction, they make the clock of life go slower and make the day longer.
There are many youths who run away from home under the temptation that they will be solved if they get out of their difficult environment.
Weary of daily life, we end up living in despair.
Desperation tempts, "Life is always boring and empty. There's no way out for me. Die and end your life!" Sadly, thousands of people make this decision every year.
3. The only way out of the path of boredom
When we come to know Jesus Christ as Lord, we can escape from boredom.
In it, you will experience the experience of growing into a new creature through faith.
Without growth, boredom must come.
Growth in Christ leads to abundant life.
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).
'In abundance' is an adverb with the meaning of wealth.
This means more reward than hard work.
Growing in Christ is the only way out of boredom, because only Christ can enrich your life.
When we grow in Christ, we sing the praises of the soul.
Growth in Christ is to drive out the discord in life and to fill its place with a new one.
In the book of Acts, let us remember the conditions of Paul and Silas, who were imprisoned in Philippi.
Because they grew up in Christ, they overcame those times of discouragement and gloom with the praises of the soul.
Growth in Christ brightens the face. The greatest blessing Jesus gave to his disciples is, ?쏽ou are the light of the world??(Matthew 5:14).
We must be the shining ones in the dark world.
We must shine from within ourselves through our relationship with Christ, the Source of Light.
Just as the moon does not emit its own light and reflects the light of the sun, so Christians reflect the light of Christ. This will free you from the path of boredom, which will make your face glow.
In this way, growth in Christ rejoices the hearts of the saints and gives them a positive attitude.
Psalm 1 says, ?쏦e is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; all its events prosper??(Psalm 1:3).
When we grow in Christ, we are freed from the path of boredom, and thereby we can find joy in our religious life.
it will be
A few days ago, I had a phone call with an old friend in Vietnam.
This person lived there for 10 years, doing business and living hard, but now working at a Korean restaurant,
He says he is living a difficult life. He said that no matter how many times he tried to die, he didn't have the courage to die.
I really miss the time to live a life of faith and live a life of faith. When I come to Korea, I go to a good church and come back to faith.
He said he wanted to recover and spend the rest of his life for the Lord, and he was asked to pray. Also, his fault
He confessed that life has new possibilities only in the Lord.
I will pray for the hope of a new life to the one who is in the midst of a very boring daily life.
Many people think that everyday life is empty and boring.
The reason is that they are wandering in the path of boredom themselves.
Jesus said, "A man's life does not consist in the abundance of what he has" (Luke 12:15).
Please discover that only in Jesus Christ can you solve this problem.
Get out of the wrong path of life and go to the Lord, the goal of your life, in a new hope.
Then you will be freed from boredom and a life of peace and joy will unfold.
