Title: Eternal Atonement

Contents

The eternal sin sacrifice offered by Jesus, who became an eternal priest according to the order of Melchizedek, with his blood, can never be changed again. This is because it is God's oath as it is said, "The LORD has sworn and will not change, saying, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek" (Psalm 110:4).

The blessing of atonement that God had promised was guaranteed by an oath again. Therefore, the Bible says, “God has sworn an oath to fully demonstrate to those who inherit the promise that his will is unchanging, because the hope that lies ahead because of these two unchangeable facts in which God cannot lie That we may find great comfort in those of us who are fleeing to find it. For we have this hope, as an anchor for the soul, strong and secure, entering into the veil. Jesus, who had gone before it, became a high priest forever for us according to the order of Melchizedek. has entered” (Hebrews 6:17-20)

According to God's promise and oath, "After Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, "It is finished." He bowed his head and died." (John 19:30) He took the torn veil to make eternal atonement with his own blood. You passed through and entered the Holy of Holies. It is the same as the words of the testimony, which are written, "...the curtain is his body" (Hebrews 10:20).

It is also the same as the words of God who testified, “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption” (Hebrews 9:12). This is the eternal gospel that eternally perfects those who have been sanctified by the blood of Jesus, and it is God's work by the Holy Spirit in the Word until now for those who will inherit salvation.

Therefore, Jesus said, “Look, God, I have come to do your will, as it is written about me in the scroll…” (Hebrews 10:7). You have accomplished everything.

Because of this truth, a sin that has been atoned for forever by God's promise and oath cannot be recognized as a sin again. For this reason, just as the Bible says, “Blessed is the man whose iniquity is forgiven, and whose sins are covered, blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not acknowledge” (Romans 4: 7-8) was the proof.

For this reason, the Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. He set it up as a sacrifice, that God might show his righteousness by forbearing the sins of the past, in the forbearance of God, that he might show his righteousness at this time, that he might be righteous, and those who believe in Jesus might justify There can be no place to do it, by what law or by works, but not by the law of faith” (Romans 3:23-27).

The law of salvation that God justifies is not the law of the corrupt conscience of Gentiles, nor the law of arrogant acts of the Jewish law, but the law of faith in the gospel of eternal atonement made up of promises and oaths according to the will of God's love. For this reason, the Bible testifies, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).

Therefore, "God demonstrates his love for us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8), and "... now in Christ Jesus... There is no condemnation for any one, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2).

For this reason, concerning eternal atonement, “But Christ, having offered one eternal sacrifice for sins, sits down at the right hand of God, waiting after that to make his enemies his footstool; by one sacrifice he will make forever those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit testifies to us, saying, This is the covenant I will make with them after that day, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts and write them in their minds. And I will remember their sins and their iniquities again. “No,” he said, “and since this has been forgiven, there is no more offering for sins” (Hebrews 10:12-18). Amen. Thank you Lord.
