Title: Eternal Atonement, Eternal Righteousness

Contents

The Bible says of Christ Jesus, “It is fitting that the Lord of their salvation be perfected through suffering in order to bring many sons to glory, of all things and of all.

For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one; therefore he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, "I will proclaim your name to my brethren, and I will sing praises to you in the midst of the church."

And again I will trust in him. And behold again, me and the children God has given me.” The children are of flesh and blood, and he also belongs to flesh and blood in one likeness, so that he who has conquered the power of death by death, and to release all those who were bound by their lifelong bondage for fear of death, not really to uphold the angels, but to uphold the descendants of Abraham.

Therefore he ought to be made like his brothers in all things, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the work of God, to make atonement for the sins of the people, for because he suffered under the test, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” Hebrews 2:10-18).

For this reason, the Bible testifies, “When the time was fulfilled, God sent his Son, born of a woman, made under the law, that he might redeem them that were under the law, and that we might receive the sonship” (Galatians 4:4-5). “Therefore, my brethren, you also were put to death to the law through the body of Christ, that you might go to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bear fruit for God” (Romans 7:4). He testified, “He that is united with the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

A man born of a woman and born under the law is unclean from conception, so in the law of commandments related to the flesh, "If a man and woman lie together and have a sexual arrangement, both shall bathe in water, and shall remain unclean until evening" (Leviticus 15:18). “Speak to the children of Israel and say, ‘If a woman conceives and gives birth to a man, she will be unclean for seven days, as unclean as it is during menstruation, and on the eighth day the children’s skins shall be cut. She shall be clean, and she shall not touch the holy things, nor enter the sanctuary, until the time of her purification is fulfilled; and if she gives birth to a woman, she shall be unclean for these seven days, as in the time of mourning; and the cleansing of live blood shall pass after sixty-six days." (Leviticus 12) :2-5) is written.

Therefore, the Holy Spirit trusted David's mouth to testify, "I was born in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me" (Psalm 51:5).

Therefore, the flesh of all who are born below is transgression, the heart of man is sin, and the spirit of man, the spirit of a servant, is evil. Transgressions and sins are exposed, but evil is hidden in sin, so the evil of sin is not known by itself until the true light shines on it. It is the same evidence as it is written, “Then their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made skirts” (Genesis 3:7).

The gospel of the Son sent by God is, “They said, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15). Repentance is not just about confessing your faults. The reason many people do not come to the Gospel is because they do not know the evil of sin and confess only their transgressions and sins.

Regarding this, the Bible testifies, "I said, 'I will confess my transgression to the LORD.' I told you my sins, and I did not hide my iniquities, and you have forgiven my iniquities (Selah)" (Psalm 32:5). are doing

A person's transgressions and sins can be atoned for by the blood of an unblemished animal, but the evil of sin cannot achieve eternal redemption unless it is with the blood of an unblemished man. Therefore, as the prophet, God said, “Seventy weeks have been appointed for your people and for your holy city, that transgression will be finished, sin will be made an end, iniquity will be made an end, everlasting righteousness will be revealed, visions and prophecies will be fulfilled, and the Most Holy One will be anointed.” (Daniel 9:24) is what he said.

Christ's law of eternal atonement is an eternal covenant that cannot be changed because God guarantees the new covenant established in Christ Jesus his Son by an oath, that is, the law of faith working through love.

Therefore, “You testify that you are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. The former commandments are abolished because they are weak and useless (the law can make nothing perfect), and there is a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

And it was not without an oath that Jesus became a priest. has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

The number of those who have become priests is large, because death does not always exist; but because Jesus is forever, his priesthood is not divided. Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives and lives for them. supplication” (Hebrews 7:17-25).

Not only this, but in more detail, “Because the law is a shadow of the good things to come and is not the true image, it is impossible to perfect those who come to you at any time by the sacrifices that are always offered year after year. How could you not cease to give?

But these sacrifices are a reminder of sin from year to year, for the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sin. Therefore when he came into the world, he said, "Sacrifice and offerings were not desired by God, but a body was prepared for me." He took no pleasure in burnt offerings and sin offerings as a whole. Then I said, Behold, God, I have come to do your will, as it is written of me in the book of the scroll.

As He said above, He has no desire or pleasure in sacrifices, offerings, whole burnt offerings, and sin offerings (they are all offered according to the law). Then He said, Behold, I have come to do your will. The first is to be abolished, so that the second may be established.

By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all and sits down at the right hand of God, waiting until after that he has made his enemies his footstool, and by one sacrifice he has perfected forever those who are sanctified.

And the Holy Spirit testifies to us, saying, "This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts and write them in their minds." Then he said, "I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more." Now that these have been forgiven, there is no more offering for sins” (Hebrews 10:1-18).

Above, the promise with God, “Look, I have come to do your will, as it is written about me in the scroll of the book,” is God’s commandment, “After receiving the sour wine, Jesus said, It is finished.” He bowed his head, and his soul returned. God” (John 19:30) is what the Bible testifies.

It is written, “The Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order that it may be taken again; no one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again; ’ (John 10:17-18) It is the same as the words of evidence.

For this reason, eternal atonement and eternal righteousness now exist only with those who are in Christ Jesus, who abides in the love of God. That is, “You are of God and are in Christ Jesus, who came from God to be wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that as it is written, He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord” (1 Cor. 1:30-31) is the same evidence.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Amen, thank you Lord.
