Title: Eternal Union / John 15:1-11
The most important thing in the life of faith is faith in salvation. If we compare the life of faith with the alphabet, the problem of salvation is A, B, and C. It is the beginning. When you realize this, you will have eternal peace in your heart. There is the second most important thing after the assurance of salvation or the assurance of being born again. ‘Eternal Union’ is the title of today’s text and sermon. From the moment we believe in Jesus, Jesus and I have become one forever.
In other words, there is a tremendous change that comes when you believe that God is with you forever. So today, I hope that new forms of life will appear in your hearts by thinking of God's Word about the 'eternal union', the eternal union of Christ and I as one.
In addition, our union with Jesus Christ is legally proven. Romans 8:1 says, “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.” There is absolutely no condemnation for those who are in Jesus. “He who believes has eternal life, and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” Why? God cannot judge us. To judge and condemn me, I must condemn Jesus Christ because I am in Christ. It is to condemn the Son of God. You can't. When we come into Christ, God does not condemn me because I am legally one with the eternally holy Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Because Jesus has covered all my sins. That is why I hope that you will be recognized as innocent and that there will be no more condemnation, this wonderful spiritual blessing is yours and mine, and I hope you will live it believing. The peace of God is in our hearts.
Everyone! You believed in Jesus. And I confessed. I believed that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God. The moment you confessed, Jesus came into your heart. We have come into Jesus Christ. Now, as I live on this earth with him, I will no longer live alone, but with Jesus Christ who lives in me, I can gain the strength, courage, and wisdom of living on this earth with Jesus Christ who lives in me. The life Jesus is in me, I am in Jesus and with Him, “God, grant us that joy.”
