Title: Evangelism is a spiritual response.
content addition>
Evangelism is a spiritual response (Matthew 11:15-17).
1. Faith is a reaction.
(1) God's promises do not change. Faith means responding to the Word of God, not to circumstances.
(2) the nature of the belief; Faith and blessing are one in the sight of God. Faith opens the door to blessings, and through faith we become people with blessings. Faith means a spiritual response, and that response is directed toward the Word of God.
⑶ The final response of faith is obedience (Isaiah 6:1-9). When the prophet Isaiah saw the glory of God filled in the temple, Isaiah's reaction was to discover his own uncleanness and lament it. And they responded with dedication. “Here I am, send me!”
2. Evangelism is a spiritual response.
(1) Responding to God's Word is a spiritual response. Jesus urged us to respond to evangelism through the Great Commission, and Paul responded with a sense of mission of evangelism (Matt.
(2) Evangelism is also a response to the life of Jesus. Jesus lived a life of evangelism. The purpose of Jesus' coming is evangelism (Mark 1:38). Evangelism is the best response to Jesus. A believer who responds to the life of Jesus is a real Christian. In order to respond to evangelism, we must receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. This is because evangelism is only accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
3. The command and promise of evangelism
(1) Evangelism has a promise. Because evangelism is the greatest command on earth, the promise is also the greatest promise (Matt. 28:20). We must be able to be loyal to the evangelism command even to death.
(2) What is the climax of your faith? The saints are sanctified through loyalty to God. What is the best spirituality? It is the spirituality of evangelism, that is, the passion of the gospel. The greater the spirituality and godliness of the saints, the stronger the revival will be.
⑶ Evangelism is the grace of restoration that opens the door of powerful spirituality to the church and its members. Evangelism is the Christian's response to God's grace, and it is a spiritual work to accomplish God's will. And the beginning of the reaction is to determine the person to be evangelized and decide to become a prospective believer.
4. Let's respond with prayer!
(1) The relationship between God and the saints becomes closer through prayer. The level of prayer means intimacy with God.
(2) The prayer that is answered must be a prayer to God. The most important thing in evangelism is to prepare through prayer and proceed through prayer. Evangelism is responding to God by praying.
