Title: Everyone has a weak start

content addition>

Everyone has a weak beginning (Job 8:1-7)

1. Christianity has a small beginning, but promises to be great later, so that Christians always have hope and positive faith.

(1) The parable of the mustard seed (Matt 13:31,32) The parable of the leaven (Matt. 13:33) The lessons of a grain of wheat (John 12:24) testify to the blessings of a small grain of wheat, but becoming prosperous in the end.

(2) The grand dreams and visions that we imagine and draw in our hearts also start with a small stream of water.

2. Everyone has a weak start.

(1) How can a weak thing become exceedingly great? The words taught in verses 5-7, ‘the principle that later will be greater than now’, are the truth.

(2) Bildad’s priest (verses 1-2)

First, we forgot that God is a God of justice, but also a God of love. Second, rather than speaking God based on the Word, he was speaking based on human common sense.

Third, the theory of causality and retribution should be applied to the future rather than to reality.

Fourth, rather than relying on the Word of God, we were relying on the wisdom and natural phenomena of our ancestors. We should not easily judge God's thoughts with our narrow views (verse 3).

3. We must seek God diligently (verse 5).

(1) We must seek God (Isaiah 55:6,7, Job 5:8, 11:13; Lamentations 3:40-41, Psalm 50:15, 66:18-20, Matthew 7:7-11)

(2) We must pray to the Almighty.

4. Be clean and honest (verse 6)

(1) The vessels that God will make great are sincerity, cleanliness, and honest character.

How can I be cleansed of my heart? First, repent of your sins. Second, it is to sort out cowardice and incompetence, just like separating teas and miscellaneous things in grain. Third, the motive is to train with a pure heart so that miscellaneous things do not mix.

(2) Honesty is a virtue that belongs to the ethical class of righteousness. that it will wear out soon.

What blessings are promised to those who are pure and honest in heart? First, God always takes care of you. Second, He will give you peace in your righteous dwellings.

Let us hope that the latter will be greater than the first (verse 7).

If we ourselves pray earnestly to Almighty God and prepare a pure and honest heart, great blessings will be given to us.
