Title: Everything in this world is an illusion

Contents

Everything in the world is just an illusion for the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. This is because they are the objects of the desires of the flesh that will perish, given to the people of the world who have inherited them in this life. It is written, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. The world and its lusts pass away, but he who does the will of God abides forever. ’ (1 John 2:16-17) and also, “Lord, deliver me by your hand, O LORD, from the people of the world, who have received their portion in this life, he will be filled with your riches, and be satisfied with children, and inherit the rest of the inheritance from his children.” (1 John 2:16-17) He is the one who passes on to children” (Psalm 17:14).

Everything that will perish in the world has been handed over to the old serpent that will perish with this world, the “evil spirit from God” who is the devil and Satan. As it is written, “The devil took Jesus up again, and in an instant he showed all the kingdoms of the world, saying, I will give you all these powers and their glory, and they have been handed over to me, and I am giving them to whomever I want” (Luke 4:5-6). is.

This world was handed over to Satan when God sent Christ Jesus into the world to save the people of that nation from their sins. Therefore, the world no longer belongs to those who are in Christ Jesus. As it is written, “But I have nothing to boast about except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world” (Galatians 6:14).

Therefore, people of Christ Jesus, who have citizenship in heaven, are strangers in the world and are passersby looking for their hometown. So he exhorted, “I tell you, make friends with the riches of unrighteousness, and when they perish, they will receive you into their eternal dwelling. And if you are not loyal to unrighteous riches, who will trust you with the truth? If you are not loyal to others, who will give you yours?” (Luke 16:9-12).

All the wealth of the world is the wealth of unrighteousness That is why the Bible says, “Make friends with the means of unrighteousness.” Also, “If someone has the goods of this world and sees his brother in need and stops his heart to help, how can the love of God abide in him?” (1 John 3:17). ) proves that

The children of God who will now inherit the heavenly inheritance with Christ Jesus are not of the world. It is as if the Lord Himself said to our Father who is in heaven, “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:16).

The children of disobedience who belong to this world will enjoy the pleasures of sin for a while according to the spirit working in them, and eventually they will go to the place prepared for the devil. As it is written, “And he said to those on the left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels’ (Matthew 25:41).

There is no permanent city in this world. This visible world is someone else's, which will come and go for a while. Therefore, there is no eternal peace in the world. It is testified, “For here we do not have a permanent city, but we are looking for what is to come. Therefore let us always offer sacrifices of praise to God through Jesus, which are the fruits of our lips that testify of his name, but to do good and to share with one another. Do not forget that with such sacrifices God is pleased” (Hebrews 13:14-16).

Therefore, Sunjin, who had preceded it, testified, “We do not look at what is seen, but what is not seen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is not seen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18), and also “as grieved, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet helping many. He makes us rich and as one who has nothing, yet has all things” (2 Corinthians 6:10).

The first heaven and the first earth are not true. A new heaven and a new earth are true. God delights in giving the kingdom to His children who, together with Christ Jesus, have put off the old man and put on the new man. As it is written, “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

Therefore, eternal true peace does not come from the world, but from above to the Father of Lights. It is written, "Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above from the Father of lights, who does not change, and there is no turning shadow" (James 1:17). I give to you, not as the world gives, what I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).

All of God's children, whom the world was crucified to me in Christ Jesus, and who was crucified to me also to the world, will laugh in the future. do.
