Title: Everything is before God
Content <Words of the Day>
30 Cornelius said, "Four days ago, until this time, while I was praying in my house for the ninth hour, suddenly a man dressed in a bright robe stood before me.
31 And he said, Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and has remembered your alms.
32 Send men to Joppa and ask for Simon, who is called Peter, for he lodges in the house of Simon the tanner by the sea.
33 I have sent you right away, and it is well that you have come. Now we are all before God to hear all that the Lord has commanded you.
The cold weather puts a lot of strength in the shoulders and face. In the midst of a cold winter, waiting for Christmas is the good news of great joy. Jesus He is our greatest gift. Even to those who did not receive a deplorable Christmas card, the baby Jesus is the Father's gift to teach you that it is the greatest love and joy for you. Peace be with those who wait for the coming of the Lord.
◆ For those who participated in baptism and initiation ceremonies
Please pray for those who participate in the Christmas baptism and initiation rites. These are the people who are willing to participate in the baptism and initiation ceremonies that start anew this Christmas. I pray that the boundless grace of the Lord will be filled with those who decide to turn their whole life toward the Lord, and start like the baby Jesus, not as a ritual to properly write a single line on my resume. The beginning of the Lord is our hope and strength to all of us.
◆ For those who are preparing for Christmas
From this year, our church's Christmas service will be changed to 11 a.m. on the 25th instead of the early morning on the 25th. It must be difficult for us to move the Christmas 0 o'clock service that has been kept as our church's tradition for more than 40 years and offer it to 11 o'clock. The things that were supposed to be done on the eve of the 24th will also be changed to the 11 o'clock service on the 25th. I hope that you will prepare and participate in the worship service with the heart of giving the Lord's Christmas completely to the Lord. Let's make a more abundant and joyful Christmas together... .
◆ We are all before God.
Cornelius is a valuable model for us who are preparing for the coming of the Lord. According to the words heard in the vision, Cornelius, who had sent and gathered the whole family to wait for him, bowed down to Peter, who had arrived at last, and said, “Now we are all before God to hear all that the Lord has commanded you. ” he made a famous confession. Cornelius was not in front of men. He was waiting humbly before God. In anticipation of what He will say, we once again look back at our attitudes and hearts as we prepare for Christmas. As we look back on the year, we wait for the Lord to come again in us who are weak and lacking.
