Everything will be all right / Romans 8:28
Key Verse: “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose” (verse 28).
Word: There is a saying, "Don't Saeong." A poor young man lived in the countryside. A stranger dragged the horses past. In front of the young man's house, the stranger said, "If there is one young man in this house, have you spoken to him?" The young man was given a gift he could not have imagined on his own account. It was a gift that everyone would envy. The next day, while riding a horse, he fell off the horse and broke his leg. Good gifts make bad things happen. But the next day, a recruiter came and forcibly drafted the young men to be taken to the battlefield. However, this young man had broken his leg, so he could not go to war. The story alternates between good and bad. This story speaks of the limitations of humans that humans have no idea what will happen after a few days or even a few seconds.
The same is true before God. What we think is good, what we think is bad, what we think is happy, what we think is unhappy, we do not know whether it is unhappiness or happiness. But God is telling us today that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to God's will. Here is true freedom. We judge good and bad in our own way. What I gain, everything I experience in my life, distinguishes between good and evil. is to judge. But whether it is really good is good or bad is bad, here is our trouble and conflict. But all things are good for those who believe, those whom God loves, and those who truly love God. Because God leads everything for the good. This is our true joy and our true freedom.
Think about the many things that have happened over the past year. There must have been a lot of good things and bad things. Were you happy to meet good things, sad to meet bad things, and sometimes resentful? But if we do not change this fact that we love God and that the Lord loves us, then everything will be all right in the end. In the end, I firmly believe that all things work together for good. Don't be afraid. Everything will be fine.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, many unsettling things are happening in our society and the world. I believe that God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son, that all things will work together for good. May we have hope, joy and gratitude in our hearts. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
