Title: Exciting Life (John 2:1-11)
Contents
On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples were invited to the wedding, and they ran out of wine. What does this have to do with me? My time has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." Following the custom of the Jews, there were placed six stone jars carrying two or three barrels. He said to fill the jar with water, and it was filled to the brim. Now, pour it out and bring it to the banquet hall.” He gave it to him. The banquet hall tasted the water-based wine and did not know where it came from, but the servants who drew the water knew it. After you have been drunk, you have given away the low, but you have kept good wine.” Jesus performed these first signs in Cana of Galilee and showed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
Hallelujah!! It is the second week of April, when spring is ripe. Now, the spring of hope is coming to this land. In the meantime, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that all of our saints who have been weary and weary from these and other things will receive grace consistently through the words of the text and that you will have an exciting life with this spring.
1. Text-
The content of the word God has given us today is an incident of a wedding feast in a town called Cana. It is a common marriage, but for the person involved, marriage is an important, happy and enjoyable day in a lifetime.
So, on the wedding day, it is a grand and fun feast by inviting family and friends. I pray in the name of the Lord that the lives of our members will be like a melting pot of thrill and excitement just like the first day of a wedding. In Israel, it is customary to treat guests at weddings for a week. Therefore, there are many foods and wine is indispensable.
Wine was a drink because the water in the area was contaminated with limestone. Even though we had prepared plenty of these drinks, we ran out of people because of too many guests. Now, the feast had only been held for three days, but unfortunately, the feast had to end.
At this time, Mary, the mother of Jesus, learns of this situation and goes to Jesus and tells him that there is not enough wine in this house. When Jesus heard this, he called the servants and commanded them to fill the pots with water for washing feet at the entrance of the house.
The servants fill the water as the Lord commands. When the water is full, Jesus commands the servants to pour the water into a kettle and bring it to the banquet hall. Servants obey. At this time, the servants thought that the house had run out of wine and that the feast would soon be over.
Nevertheless, it was impossible to pour water for foot washing in a kettle and bring it to the banquet hall. However, the moment the banquet hall received the water kettle and poured the net into the cup, the water turned into wine, and I believe it to be the highest quality wine. Hallelujah!!
2. A family with the Lord is enjoyable.
-The start of this amazing miracle is that this family had a feast with the Lord. Because the Lord was there, this family had a wonderful and wonderful experience of turning water into wine.
When you walk with the Lord, the sheep are led by the shepherd. Being with the Lord means taking everything in the world with you. Hallelujah!! I believe that being with the Lord is the greatest happiness and the greatest glory.
We are the Lord of our homes. That is why we also believe that wonderful wonders and miracles will appear just as water becomes wine. Isn't it fun to go on the road with the Lord? Hallelujah!!!
3. If you obey the Word, good things will happen.
-Secondly, the joy that comes to this family is thanks to the servants who obeyed the word of the Lord. Meeting people well in life is the greatest blessing. I pray that good families, good neighbors, and each other will become useful saints in life. The master is a good servant! Thanks to having a worker of faith, I was able to receive praise and have a pleasant feast without worries.
Words are power.
Words are life. /The Word is alive. /Words are the master key that unlocks the gates of heaven's blessings.
Moses obeyed these words and parted the Red Sea.
In obedience to these words, Peter believed that he not only caught enough fish that the boat sank twice in an instant, but also became the best life in history. How exciting is this life?
4. You can live an exciting life.-
Dear saints, our God, who delights in giving me and you an exciting life, is calling us to this place today and is telling us the wonderful gospel.
We too can experience miracles and live.
We too are beings who can experience and live the power of the Word.
In the crisis of our life, we too can put on the power of God, turn our lives upside down, and live an exciting life.
I bless you and me who live in the presence of the Lord. I bless you and I who are determined to obey the Lord's commands unconditionally. I pray that the amazing miracle of water being transformed into wine will overflow in all our homes.
