Title: Experience God

Contents

experience God

Proverbs 8:17 'I love those who love me, and those who seek me earnestly find me' - Amen.

God is a Spirit (John 4:24), and we are mostly carnal human beings to think and feel, with worldly knowledge and sensibility.

Therefore, in most cases, they misunderstand knowing God as a doctrine or form and mistake it for faith. Today, <Experience God>

is to get the message of the Bible on the way to properly meet God. What does it mean to experience God?

1. It means to become a man of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible identifies believers as people of the Holy Spirit. The Jews were experts in the knowledge of God, but they did not love God.

I did. Romans 1:21 “But when they knew God, they did not glorify Him or give thanks to Him, but their thoughts became futile.

Has your foolish heart darkened?”

Even the demons knew that there is one God.

James 2:19 "Do you believe that there is only one God? You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble."

Therefore, having the knowledge of God does not directly lead to salvation. Must be a man of the Holy Spirit

You can live the life of a believer with God.

Romans 8:9 “If the Spirit of God dwells in you, you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit

If you don't, you are not of Christ.

In this way, the Bible teaches that people of the Holy Spirit are saints. Those who are with God are those who are with the Holy Spirit.

All. To experience God is to be influenced by the Holy Spirit. What must we do to become saints with the Holy Spirit?

2. Two misconceptions must be discarded

There are two misconceptions that I am a man of the Holy Spirit and that I am with God. Let go of these and become a man of the Spirit in a biblical way

it should be

1) It is a pedigree misunderstanding.

The Jews only had the pride that they were Abraham's descendants and did not love God at all, and they were destroyed.

Matthew 4:9-10 “Do not think within yourselves that Abraham was our father, for I tell you, God is able to know with these stones.

to be the children of Braham, 10. The ax is already at the root of the trees; every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and burned.

'Because you were born into a family of believers, you do not automatically become filled with the Holy Spirit.

2) Religious activity itself is not an experience.

It cannot be concluded that attending church is a member of the Holy Spirit. Jesus' disciple Judas Iscariot was a man without the Holy Spirit.

The Pharisees and the elders of that time were revered as so-called religious people. But they were the ones who killed the Messiah.

Luke 5:33 'They said to him, The disciples of John fasted and prayed often, and the disciples of the Pharisees also did the same...'

Acts 26:5 '(Paul's words) ... I will say that I lived the life of a Pharisee following the strictest sect of our religion.

Their regular religious life was so straight that we could not follow the attitude of Jesus Christ, but it was formal and lacked sincerity

It was a casual meal out.

3. Experiencing God is the Word, Prayer, and Action

God is a spirit, and human beings as beings with a body had to have some medium to realize and experience God.

1) It is possible through the word of God

In the Old Testament, God spoke directly to the first man without any media.

You said.

He called Abraham, he called Moses, and he called the prophets. God also appeared in human form as an angel.

He also gave the commandments to the people to record the voice of God.

In the meantime, in the New Testament, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to accomplish the miracle of Immanuel in history and

It is the New Testament that allows us to record the facts we have seen, heard, and experienced. Through this special revelation given the words of the Old and New Testaments,

W God, you made me know your will and purpose, so you can believe and live on the basis of the Word.

Psalm 119:131 "I opened my mouth and gasped, because I longed for Your commandments."

Luke 24:32 "They said to one another, "As he spoke to us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us,

Did you not?”

Acts 10:44 “As Peter was speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came upon all who heard the word.”

2) We experience the Holy Spirit by praying

When you pray, there will be things to repent of. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit. The apostles spent three years with the Lord in miracles and

They experienced the power themselves, but after 10 days of prayer in Mark's upper room on the day of Pentecost, they were filled with the Holy Spirit,

Even Jesus fasted and prayed for 40 days in the wilderness before starting the gospel ministry. The birth of the church is also the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost

It was possible after He came. In Luke 18, the parable about the persistent widow's petition tells us not to lose heart and pray.

I am speaking.

Psalm 63:1 “O God, you are my God; I seek you earnestly, but my soul seeks you in a dry and desolate land where there is no water.

Longing for you, my flesh longs for you.”

Psalm 69:3 “I am weary from crying, my throat is thirsty, my eyes have faded from the hope of my God.”

3) We experience the Holy Spirit because we practice the truth

The word faith, pivsti, is used with the word loyalty. Christian faith is not a philosophical sentiment, but an adaptation to reality.

is a religion of reality participation. So the Lord also testified by his actions that he was with God and became a Son.

John 8:29 He who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, because I always do what pleases him.

la'

John 14:11 “Believe that I abide in the Father, and the Father abideth in me; otherwise, because of the deeds I do, I

believe in '

In the same way, in order for us to have the experience of being with God, we must practice according to the purpose of the truth we have already received, so that we can obtain the work of the Holy Spirit.

You can. God is with those who work.

John 7:17 “If any man will do the will of God, he will know whether this doctrine is from God or whether I speak of my own accord.”

John 14:23-24 "Jesus answered and said to them, If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him.

We will go to him and make our abode with him.”

Anyone can experience God through the Word and prayer. The fastest experience is to practice faith through obedience. God

Rather than going to the mountains or fields to experience it, a place that reads a lot of the Word and hires a prayer life would be better, a church church would be the best.

Or even a prayer hall.

Faith in action involves some adventure, but when you practice evangelism and loyalty, you will experience God's presence. Christian

is a living religion. Not a dead idol. Therefore, I pray that you will become victorious saints through the spiritual life of the living God every day.

Congratulations.
