Title - Faith in Life
Bible - Romans 4:17
Sometimes, there are those who understand ‘faith’, which is the condition of salvation in Christianity, only as ‘divine knowledge’.
That's why they take the value of the believer's 'existential life' lightly.
However, the Bible identifies the nature of the believer's faith, saying, "I will live by faith."
In other words, our beliefs must be connected to a 'holistic and responsive life'.
Faith that does not manifest itself as fruit in life and in life cannot be called true faith.
Let's shed light on the reasons why the assurance of faith should be shown in the lives of saved believers.
Example - Faith and Doubt
After reading the Word and praying, I couldn't keep calm. I told my anxious wife not to be afraid of God's word, that the Lord would sustain me. However, the person concerned had no way to hide his anxiety and his face was full of sorrow. The next day I went to the hospital to check the results. At the hospital, the doctor said, "Don't worry, it's normal."
1. To be shown faithful to God
The Bible uses the words ‘faith’ and ‘loyalty’ as the same concept.
Among the lives of believers who are saved through true faith, if there is a phenomenon that distinguishes them from unbelievers, it is a life of loyalty to God.
Serving our neighbors and living a life of salvation are possible even for unbelievers.
However, a life of loyalty to God is something only children of God can do, and the life of a child of God is concretely manifested in the church, which is the body of God.
Holy water on Sunday, fulfillment of duties, devotion both physically and mentally, and evangelistic life are all things that only those who have sincere faith can please God.
Sometimes, there are those who claim, ‘You just need faith, you don’t need a church.
However, how can we say that we love and look forward to the invisible heaven and heaven in the future while ignoring the church, the body of God, that we see in this world?

Two close friends from California, USA went fishing on the beach.
Although they are not good at fishing, the fish bites well. But one friend told me that when a small fish the size of a palm bites it, it catches it and puts it in the gureuk, and when a large fish bites it, it is put back into the sea.
A friend who was fishing next to me thought it was strange, but I couldn't ask while fishing, so I was curious.
"Hey, I have one strange thing."
"What?"
"I see, you catch a small fish, put it in a guruk, put a big fish back into the water, but it's different from my common sense, but if you're like me, you'd rather put a big one in and put the small one back into the sea because you feel sorry for it. Is there any special reason?"
"Well, we only have 10-inch frying pans in our house..."
2. To be manifested in a life of service to neighbors
Those who are saved by the grace of the cross of Christ realize that the meaning of the cross is the truth of God who loves life.
So, you become a person who can love not only God, but also your ugly and unclean neighbors.
That love is ultimately reflected in his service life.
Before, you wanted to receive something from your neighbor, but after knowing Christ, you become a giver.
Previously, they lived dependent on covetousness and material things, but believers avoid being slaves to excessive desires because they believe in God's providence of love and grace.
On the contrary, even when faced with difficulties in life, we do not get frustrated and always rejoice with the hope of eternal life.
If such temperance and hope are always present through faith, you can be sure that you are a child of God.
Christian salvation finds its meaning in the eternal God's plunge into finite human life.
Therefore, it must appear as fruit in the faith of the saints and in all realms of this world.
Saints who thus link their faith into their lives will always experience the true joy of salvation.
