Title: Faith heals the wounds of the soul
Contents
People get hurt countless times in their lives. Likewise, we live with a wounded heart. However, the wounds of the body are trying to heal quickly, but the wounds of the mind are left unhealed.
path of wounds
1. Thinking
The thoughts that the people I meet and come in contact with are thinking about me hurt my heart.
2. Talking.
The words the people around me are saying are hurting me. I am hurt by hearing words that demean my character.
3. It is Doing.
We are hurt by the attitudes and behaviors of the people around us. You are hurt by that attitude of vehemently objecting for no reason.
Things lost through hidden wounds
1. Loss of self-confidence. (Self confidence)
Self-confidence does not mean that you have confidence by relying on external factors in yourself.
2. Loss of God's love (unconditional love)
Hidden wounds lead to the loss of God's love in the Christian's heart. Christians are those who are loved by God. And those who have the love of God in their hearts. However, hidden wounds make Christians lose the love of God that God has poured out in their hearts.
3. Loss of loyalty. (Loyalty)
The word “loyalty” is not narrowly used to refer to the attitude a subordinate has toward his or her superiors. The word loyalty is the attitude shown in the relationship between God and people and between people.
A way to heal hidden wounds
1. Don't mind people.
“When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but entrusted himself to him who judges righteously, and he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we died to sins and to righteousness that you may live; by his wounds you were healed” (1 Peter 2:23-24).
2. Look at what God wants to do.
“Jesus answered, It was not because of the sins of this man or his parents, but that the works of God might be revealed in him” (John 9:3).
3. Faith heals the wounds of the soul.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2).
