Title: Faith is Embracing a Vision
Faith is to have a vision (Genesis 15:1-7)
<Have a specific vision>
God promised Abraham a blessing and made him look at the stars (verse 5). That scene speaks volumes about the importance of vision. If you want a blessing, you must have a spiritual picture and a vision before that. Just as we need to design in advance to build a house, we need to do spiritual design in advance to build a house of blessing. When designing an interior well in advance, you can save time and money and make it more beautiful. Such a clear spiritual vision significantly increases your chances of becoming a work of art.
Without a vision, you can receive small blessings but not big blessings. So, to live a successful life, have a vision, keep dreaming of that vision, keep thinking, keep looking. Then God will surely give you opportunities, ideas, people, and finances. Even a dream-like vision that seems unlikely to come true will come true someday if you hold on to it with faith and work hard until the end.
As people get older, their body and mind become weak, and when things do not go as expected, their excitement, expectations and vision for tomorrow gradually weaken and their minds shrink. However, do not lose your vision, excitement and anticipation until the end. Only then can you live young and lively, and at the same time, your chances of success will increase and you will be greatly blessed.
Never fall into lethargy, even if the vision you've had so far doesn't materialize and it seems that the big vision isn't fruitful. Continue to draw a picture of your vision with anticipation for God, anticipation for the work God will raise through you, and anticipation for the overflowing rewards that God will provide in the future. If you go out with a vision like that, God will surely help you achieve your vision.
< Faith is to embrace the vision >
How did Abraham respond when God renewed his vision? When Abraham believed in God again and had a vision, God saw him as righteous (verse 6). Many people think that living perfectly is ‘righteousness’, but how can a person live perfectly to be righteous to God? A man's righteous garments are like rags in the sight of God. So, God does not view the perfect life as righteousness, but rather, trusting in God the Creator and holding the vision God has given to us as righteousness.
What upsets you the most in your life of faith? I want to live according to God's will, but it is most upsetting that I cannot live that way. Nevertheless, do not give up your faith and do not lose the holy vision of “I can be a blessed being!” Only then will God receive you more, consider you more righteous, and grant you more blessings. Never be disappointed with your current appearance. If God has a holy vision and continues to seek His blessings, the road to great blessings will be opened.
In the end, the way to study abroad was opened according to my dream, and I was able to study abroad at Colorado State University in the United States. However, my life became more difficult when my father passed away while I was studying abroad. I bought a bag of flour and ate three meals a day with only Sujebi and survived for 4 months. However, I couldn't afford to live anymore, so I returned to Korea, but had nowhere to go, so I slept on a newspaper at the express bus terminal and worked as a clerk at the theater.
I was so discouraged by that reality, but then God gave me another word. “What do you mean if it is possible? Nothing is impossible for those who believe.” He held on to the word and ignited the spark of the vision. In the end, God led him into the entertainment industry and made him a top star. He is Choi Soo-jong. If we hold on to the Word and vision like that, the best path beyond our imagination will be opened.
Now, believe in God's promise of blessing and pray. "God! I believe that you have already had a beautiful plan for me since you saved me. I want to live my best life according to God's plan. Grant me a brilliant and holy vision that will not fade over time, and the brilliance of creative wisdom to achieve that vision, and the faith that will not disappoint even if there are obstacles on the way to it!” God's blessing vision is still valid today. Do not nullify that vision of blessing with distrust, disappointment, and discouragement.
