Faith is believing and trusting God's Word and what he has done. Unbelief is not believing the Word. God has shown enough evidence to be credible to a variety of people in all ages and is telling them to believe. Faith has the power to move us.
Doubt keeps you from coming to the Lord, but faith gives you the strength to actively come to the Lord. Faith does not come by itself, it comes from hearing. People who came with beds believed in the Lord and came because they heard about Jesus (Luke 5:15). Hearing that the Lord is the Son and Savior of God, that He can heal any disease, and that those who have heard the word live a new life, I gained faith and it gave me strength to come to the Lord. Thinking about God is important. If we believe and trust in the Lord, the Lord will solve what we cannot do.
Faith is the power to overcome obstacles. If you look at the structure of the house at that time, a light tile was placed on the roof to block the sunlight on the yard in the house. Those who had brought the paralyzed man lifted up the tiles on the roof of the place where the Lord was preaching, and then lowered their beds. I wanted to approach the Lord through the door, but there were so many people that I couldn't go, so I did this. The strength to overcome any obstacles and come to the Lord was what moved them. That is faith. Our problem is not the obstacles, but the lack of faith to overcome them.
Faith is the power that draws the power of God. God's power flows through faith. According to Luke 8:43-48, the woman who had suffered from bleeding for 12 years had a firm belief that if she went to Jesus, she could be healed, but when there were too many people to come, she said that it would be better if she touched Jesus' cloak. When he touched the woman in faith, the power of Jesus flowed to the woman, and the bleeding was healed immediately.
Faith has the power to draw the power of God. Through faith, the healing power of God flows, the power of forgiveness of sins flows, the power of demons leaving, and the power to solve problems. When the Lord saw the faith of those who tore the roof down and lowered the paralytic, He healed them (Luke 5:20). Faith is power. It is the power to overcome all adversity and obstacles. It is the power that allows the power of God to flow through us. We must all win through the power of faith.
